  • Dunes Are Jacked Up

      • Overall conditions: bad
      temperature: cool
      wind: windy
      skies: sunny/ clear skies
      crowd: empty, hardly anyone here
      dunes: wet sand, damp sand, dry sand

    We got a nice wind storm last night that blew all the dry sand off the wet stuff. The tops of the dunes are wet lumps of concrete, making transitions impossible. But it's sunny and windy so hopefully the dunes will dry and and fix themselves back to epic conditions. Sure made it easy to pack up after the morning run.

    That in between stage of wet and dry makes for some funky sand.
