    Saturday Morning, Halloween Weekend

    Overall conditions: great
    There's a nice cool breeze this morning. It's shaping up to be a great day. The dunes are pretty tore up as expected, but we've still managed to get some decent duning in. 
    No other major accidents to report other than the helicopter the other day and there was a Jeep that rolled a couple times on a finger dune near comp. 
    Comp was hopping pretty good last night but everyone seemed to bail around 10/10:30. 

    Overcast, Choppy Dunes And Filling Up Quickly

    Overall conditions: good
    The clouds are really cool today. Still overcast but no rain.
    The dunes are tore up pretty good but who cares! haha We got a really good morning run in. We saw @jalper and his crew out in the dunes and @GO BIG OR GO HOME showed up at the north pole. 
    Vendor row is hoppin and the visitor center is open with duners stopping in to check out the snakes and grab brochures. 
     





    Friday Morning, Halloween Weekend

    Overall conditions: good
    It's a nice 75° morning with some clouds overhead. I don't think it's going to rain much today, if at all. Having a little coffee before we head out for our first dune run.

    We just got set up and we're socializing around camp.  Cracked that first beer of the season and oh did it go down well. 
     
    Happy to be here and looking forward to the weekend. Waiting for the rest of the crew to show up so I grabbed a few photos around camp.

    Pulling Into Dumont, Thursday Night

    Overall conditions: good
    There's a nice breeze blowing and it feels great because it's about 84 degrees still. The camp area has quite a few duners already. There's a steady stream of haulers pulling in now. 
    I haven't been out in the sand yet but it's a little damp underneath the surface and seems a little choppy already. It's going to be tore up out there this weekend but I don't even care!  Let's dune.
     
     
     

    Wednesday Report: Halloween Weekend

    Overall conditions: good
    The sand is damp underneath but drying out. 
    Morning temperatures are nice and the afternoons are warm.
    The helicopter came in Wed evening and trucks with flashing lights were seen coming out of the dunes. Still no word on what happened.

    Tuesday

    Overall conditions: good
    Road is a B couple huge puddles 
    Dunes are very moist and a little chewed up
    It's a nice 80+ with a light breeze

    One Last Sunday Morning Ride

    Overall conditions: epic!
    We laid some great tracks this weekend. Still super steep razors. There doesn't seem to be too much shift from last year. Good breeze last night smoothed them out again for today, but you could still see our lines. No photo, cause we were having to much fun shredding them up. It was 91 when we left at 11:30 am.  Very few camps. Needs a good cleaning, summer trash seemed more than normal.
