ynot
This is true, BUT you always seem to still need a taste of it. That's why you always manage to sneek away from your camp and stop by our's for a little taste of it...loud drunks talking :no_no: and laughing their azzes off , SOBE's going off at 3 at a time, hear all the talk about those things and activities that are forbidden in the ynot camp, etc. Damn, I miss Dumont already! It's all good, Terry. There not forbidden, it's just that are camp is a mix of kids and older folks who have passed thru that part of craziness! I still like to come over to your camp(not sneak) and see friends. When it get's too crazy I leave. It's just the way I am it's not a bad thing against anyone I have just gotten a little more conservative in my old age. Yes I still like to drink my beer but I also know that it hurts more the next day than it used to and I come to the dunes to dune not to be hungover and feel like crap so I know my limits. I don't look down on anyone that likes to party but I do enjoy a good nights sleep listening to the sounds of motors reving on the dunes. You sure you want a couple of old farts camping with you this trip?

I exageratted a bit and I think you took it as me saying there was something wrong with how your camp is and I resepct that. I completely understand what you mean. I don't think any less of you guys either. :no_no: Our camp isn't always crazy. As a matter of fact, it's usually only super friggen nuts when certain people are there (Steveo). I appreciate the quiet weekends for the same reasons you do. I don't mind a couple "old farts" camping with us this weekend. It should be fun! Richard Cheese
With new campers with us we have a "Tribal Council" later and have only voted 3 out in a very long time. First one that gets to camp parks and sets the plan for all that have advised up front to expect them. Anybody shows up unexpectedly we either wiggle them in or they get the leftover outer circle. Always been that way. It is funny though that after camping together for so long that each individual has his own preferred spot and that's where they go right to. It's all good and makes it fun! I don't care if I am in a circle or not. I like the door side of my hauler to point north when I am at dumont. That gives a great deal of shade without the canopy up. I bring 2 ice chests. one for drinks, and anything that doesn't fit in the fridge, and one for just ice......for iced adult beverages, and also for adding to drink ice chest, when it gets low. funny though. we were the first ones in camp last Thursday, and by Friday night, we did have a circle goin on

Pete, I am highly offended that you think I am that thin skinned! I know that it's not a problem or I wouldn't be there. But I will be and we are all looking forward to it!! Billsinca
Remind me Bills to call a tribal on your azz! Yeah Right. You may call one on me but that would mean the wife and kid would have to go too. Thats all that keeps me there I'm sure!!!!!!!!!
