Treshombre
Hey Guy's looking forward to seeing you all at the Dumont regatta! So as the title says we are going to raffle off a 125 Semi Auto engine with pullstart conversion at the regatta and then install it right then and there. Raffle will be a side raffle for folks with stock 70's only. Raffle tickets will be $20 ea. with proceeds going to DDR 70 Crew to offset costs of the event. The raffle prize is a complete engine to include our new conversion side cover,Cage, harness, all electronics, Carb, Sterdy Exhaust System and a new chain. You must have a stock 70 present at the regatta and agree to the install there. Bike must be ready for install. In other words it must be a complete bike so we can install the engine and watch you ride away! We will be using your pullstarter and shift lever. ( just like the kits we sell ) So don't forget that stocker at home! You just may be driving home with a rippen 70 / 125 !! Superstar70
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS!!!!! In my conversations with Tres, the idea behind this is to have running stock 70's, with no motor work done (i.e. 88 kit, etc) that is at the Regatta eligible for a motor upgrade. We will be doing a whole video on this, a before and after clip, and an install clip to show just how easy it is to do a motor swap. We will be video interviewing ALL the raffle participants before the drawing and then after as well. Hope this clears up any confusion of what is being considered a "stock 70". If Tres wants to allow non-running 70's I'll let him pipe in, but that is not what we discussed when the idea was being tossed around. NE14SAND
question. is there a cap on tickets (ie 1 per stocker) or is it unlimited?
dunefreak
question. is there a cap on tickets (ie 1 per stocker) or is it unlimited? As long as you have a stock 70, you can buy as many as you want.
