  8. I'll be hangin out with racerX up on the hill. As always, should be there Thursday night.
  9. Like you would go anyway, isn't your car broke? Did you pull the trans yet?
  10. Yeah, mine GPS'd at 76 MPH from a dead stop at the bottom. :mischevious:
  11. Good info, is it compatible with aluminum?
  12. Here's the magic formula... (PER PADDLE)-- 1 bottle of Liquid Alumaseal Radiator Stop Leak (or Bar's Leak), mixed with 15 ounces of regular Anti-Freeze (non- Dex),.. I use Peak brand. You have to stir the Alumaseal with a screwdriver to get the stuff in the bottom of the bottle blended with the liquid. Then pour it into an old gear oil bottle along with the Anti-freeze, and use the gear oil spout tip with 6" of vinyl tubing to connect to your valve stem (core removed), then squeeze the bottle 'till empty. You HAVE to shake the bottle alot to keep the stop leak in suspension. Drive the car a mile or so and you're done.
  13. Saw this on GD and thought it might help so people out. http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index....showtopic=92769
  14. Is that the new "Barbie and Ken play in the desert set". Come everybody, all together................"That's Pooooopd********ck".
  15. Which one will break a tranny and cv's faster, which one pulls harder on the top end, which one makes the car handle 10 times better.......the answer to which one is better is the Subaru....hands down. We have sandrails(a light car that drives fast in the dunes) not pre-runners or desert cars. As far as the by-passes go, I would say you need them on a heavier car, but they are a nicety to have on a lighter car.
  16. I would say no, for reasons already stated. It would be a huge place for lazy people to just throw their trash "next to", and when the wind blows it would be a huge mess.
  17. Yap, you're right, the burned one has inboard rear shocks
  18. Yeah, that's the one I was thinking about
  19. Another reason to stick with the good builders, most that have been around for awhile have the geometry figured out.
  20. What a bummer, the little chance I had to speak with Jeff, he seemed like a great guy. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. And our thoughts are with the whole family.
