Are Visalian's welcome? Hey Cheese, educate these folks on some Oildale trivia: Name the famous Rock/Rap band that came from Oildale. and the band that helped them get there start, also from Bakersfield.

anyone from DDR going to the SSSS in the OC in september?
Kevlar replied to Richard Cheese's topic in Shows, Expos, and Races
Staying at Newport Dunes. Anyone else? Does DDR have a booth this year? -
Some of you guys know 66cummins. He and his father are dozer operators. They've have been fighting this fire since it began. With the OT theyre earning they'll be able to buy a couple Rhinos, each!

Your post title is misleading. These are not WW problems but typical RV problems.

Please don't promote this lind of thing as cool or funny. One of the reasons Jim Suty and company at FoOD are winning this fight is because we've kept our cool. The opposition are the ones that pull this kind of crap, not us. It makes for very negative publicity that the locals see on the 8:00 news and it is the locals who voted for and thus influence the Board of Supersvisors to act.

Mine makes it just fine into my 71" opening

Redswr, I urge you to join the discussion board here http://oceanodunes.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2 and stay informed. If you cant attend the hearing, the next best thing is to inundate them with emails. Here is a good place to start http://slorider.com/ODSVRA/200704/Flier.pdf This flier has all the info to write an intelligent letter and lists all the email addresses.

It is too bad that there is not one large org that we all can belong to that will help us fight this fight. ASA, glamisdunes, corva, orba, FoOD, FoDD, FoSM. All good orgs, but because we are divided the opposition finds it easier to conquer us one at a time. When one falls they will move on to the next area. And make no mistake they will not stop until everything is closed.

Go to their web site and click on locations. Go from there. I beleive a long bed is about $460

You got that right. Billet all the way, got it from Giant RV in Monrovia. Just the single bedroom slide.

Nice trailer. Congrats. My CR3705 is due April 21. That floorplan cant be beat with the bathroom layout.

Normal, something to do with the design of the brake on the drive shaft.

Considering the new 2008 Super Duty Ford trucks?:
Kevlar replied to Duneraider's topic in Truck, Jeep, & Car talk
Looks like a great idea to me. Makes it easier to work on. I'm sure they have it down and can be done quickly. -
I read somewhere that Carson is not fully registered as an RV manufacturer and therefore are not listed in Nada guides. I will try and find where I read that.

Now were talking! -

I started this Toyhauler Poll over on glamisdunes.com I hope all toyhauler owners will go over and vote and add your comments. As you can see the poll is kind of flawed in that question 2 doesnt offer a no opinion option. But I've got some good info out of it. If your not a member of gd.com now is a good time to join. I get .25 for every new member. Just kidding.

Check your math. I think your trying to squeeze out a thousand there. Thanks Jack this is what I needed to hear. Dually with 4.10's it is.

Hey, the CR3905 is the TH on the top of my list. It is unique in that it has a right side hallway with an all enclosed huge bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Can you tell me how its working out for you so far? Anything you dislike about it? Any issues at pickup? Any problems since you've used it? And have you weighed it yet? I'm mostly curious about the pin weight. I had many blow outs with my previous SLC3705 and my SRW 3/4 ton due to being too heavy on the box. I switched to a DRW and the blowouts stopped. I am certian the 3905 is heavier than my old 3705 so I'm leaning towards a dually.

Anyone from this site interested in a little slick rock? On June 7-9 the first ever national UTV rally will be held at Moab Utah. This is shaping up to be a serious event. So far sponsers include SideXSide, Cart Wheeling, & Toyhauler Magazines, Trail Pass, Powertank, and Motorsports Mania. Go here for more details http://www.utvrally.com/index.php

What upgrades, ideas have you done to make "toy haulin" simpler.
Kevlar replied to ntrsandman's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
Good topic The best thing I've seen done is plumbing air drops to the wheel wells from the compressor to make it easier to air up. Same guy also has a high flow pump so he can pump fresh water through a hoze to another toy hauler since he has 150 gallons and is usually by himself. Nice guy huh? -
Being a Pismo regular and a Class A owner I have plenty of experience in getting stuck. Definetly not something you want to brag about but if it helps others, so be it. Here's what I have learned. 1. First of all weld or bolt some beefy tow hooks up front. 2. Air down to at least 45. Some say this is a waste of time but everytime I've not aired down or aired back up prematurly, I got stuck. 3. Unhook your enclosed and have a buddy tow it in and out to the hard pack. 4. Buy a 4x8 sheet of that 1 1/8" thick plywood. Rip it down the middle and cut a couple slots on the side for hand holds. Use this to park on so when its time to leave you got a good runway. Have your buddy throw the wood into the enclosed and tow it to hardpack. If you do get stuck use these boards under the hydraulic jacks to lift the moho, fill in the sand and try again. 5. Have a buddy tow you in or out just for good measure 6. Never turn sharp 7. Never go slow. By the way 3 to 4 hours getting unstuck is about my average. Anyone else got some tips I all ears. Kevin
