it happened to me in a f150 the little car exploded in flying parts but the f150 (with hitch) held on other than fords crumple zone which bent the frame he hit me at about 40 i was sitting still. i have like a 19" neck i think it helped me to from whiplash that truck wasnt lifted i caught it square.

theres a few comparisons out there that say the titans frame is not as strong as it should be i hope they beef it up before trying a 3/4 ton and i havnt seen of a performance diesel out of these guys yet have you isuzus diesel is

I know american medical response is a huge ambulance service, they will not use dodge or chevy. they claim niether are fleet compatable. they are running 7.3 ford because of the problems with the 6.0. most of these rigs are over 300,000 miles because of it. construction companies use mostly, not all, most ,use fords. i grew up in the underground bussines after i left my dad wrecking yard. and all you saw ,and pretty much wouldn't die, were fords. chevy has more wins with there engines than any U.S. maker including the venerable hemi. dodge in the last 3 years has been making improvements into quality of there vehicles. my 04 dodge shows they have come along way in my eyes. Fit and finish are still good after 2 years early dodge owners know this is an achievement lol. however chevrolets as good as there motors are and there trans , they have had reliability issues for a very long time just like dodge. none of these trucks are crap sh*t or garbage they are very tough vehicles that pull alot weight and have to act like a street car. i think its marvelous look at an 89 ford diesel and see how far its come or a 79 model chevy diesel. the japs have nothing in the 3/4 ton venue that can touch american 3/4 tons and up but they will.................... and thats all i got to say about that..................... except........................ well..... dodge still rulez :mc_smiley:

thats because gm is floundering and has been. toyotas opening new plants gm is shutting them down . chrysler sales are down as well. i know mercedes is trying to put some quality into a company that never had any. i know nothing of fords dealings. frankly a revamp is long overdue ................................... we used to be known for quality....................................... those same u.s. auto workers are biulding toyotas and there opening plants and prospering thats a pretty good indication that change is needed............

funny you should say this i was at the adelanto grandprix this weekend. my son was racing. one poor guy parked in front of me got jumped by 2 of the vagos motorcycle gang for being friends with another person. that was the night before i got there. then while he was there his house got broken into, then someone hit his truck, then his daughter went to another camp and got a firecracker thrown in her face. which prompted leos to come and an ambulance. the leos were so numerous that several came over and stood under my awning and i was chatting with them. of course the conversation turned to dumont , and the a$$hats at the grand prix and the officer said " these idiots will not understand why these events get closed up and are the first to complain when they cant play there anymore " his meaning in text of the conversation was a$$ hats at gatherings. later on that night that same mans son was beaten with a 2x4.................................................. he is a bussiness owner and quite a nice guy??? im over the grand prix ill come out for the day to support my son then ill go home enough is enough.....

my dodge just hit 60 k with the same tranny it came out of the factory with and my dodge does the pulling duty of 1 tons ford vs chevy ? the battle for second place rages on...........................................................

heres the thing if the dealer doesnt lift it they will void warranty related problems if one was to occur .mine was dealer lifted as well, i know what it costs to lift and i made sure the negotiaions went properly. but that extra measure of protection is valuable and if there like moss dodge buy one before it goes to the lift shop then you can pick your wheels . and if your willing to spend a lil extra you can get upgrades on your lift like better shocks
