This is getting unreal!! What happened to just going out and having fun with the family and NOT worrying about your S*#T getting stolen!! Theft like this.... Usually the crooks are caught!! Damn Dirtbag Thieves... They should be :angry2: than disposed of out in that Big Open Desert! _________________________________________________________________________________________ The owner of the stolen Rhino needs to get a list and pictures to all of us in the sand community of what that Rhino was about and what parts it has. Lets keep an eye out on Craigslist, E-Bay and the other sites that sell these kind of toys and their parts.

Yep!! I was going to say the same thing... Its not the cost of fuel and Food but also the PAYMENTS on the Truck and or Toyhauler/Motorhome... and dont forget the toysbeing towed out!! Gaud D@#N!! :angry2: We are a family of six and the 2 older kids ALWAYS need to bring there friends!! :angry2: :chug: Last year during Halloween it cost: 1. Rv rental $780.00 2. Food $450.00 3. Gas for r.v and bikes $300.00+ 4. B.S.! Pass $20.00 "BLM" 5. Daughter blew-up new quad first hour $1800.00 6. Son blew-up his Kx 125 First day $400.00 ish! 7. I blew-up my banshee that afternoon on Comp Hill $700.00 And some other S#!t I am forgetting!!! For a grand total of: $ Who cares! Its worth it!! We love the dunes and will always find a way to have fun in the sand with family and good friends! If were not out enjoying life than whats the point!!.... I don't know where that came from.. :jester:

I was driving home the other day and passed a friend of mine going the other way... Towing behind his trick was this Golf Cart he has been working on.. This has to be the most ridiculous cart I have seen yet!! LOL!! I asked him what he was thinking building something like this... He said that it isint lifted enoughf so he is making wider and taller suspension with an air bag system! Heres a few picks ... What do you think??? or

My friend saw the accident happen while he was sitting on his quad a the bottom of Comp! The Victims wife and Im guessings kid was next to my friend when the accident happened. My friend than ran up on his quad and was helping the banshee rider before the rangers arrived on scene. I did not see the accident happen but I did see the Victim in a neck brace laying down in back of a Rangers pickup being transported to the Medical Aid area. Its hard to believe the BLM Rangers have no information on the driver of the rail. The FIRST thing you do when a accident report is Who was driving than its What, When, Where and Why it happened. I will get with my friend today and see if he has any information on the driver. If anything he can be a wittness to the accident. Anybody can P.M. me if they need my friends information. I saw the Banshee being towed out of Comp hanging off of a Rhino.. I was shocked how damaged the quad was!! Hope the quad rider makes a full recovery!!

We'll be there... Just need to find out where the South Pole is. We will be camping out by Restroom #3. Any directions...? Anybody??

I have been looking for a automatic quad for my daughter for a little while. The only reasonably priced quad im finding is the Polaris 250 automatic quad. There are a lot of these quads for sale on Craigslist, Bike trader and whatever else.... Are these quads just junk or is it that people are just out growing them to fast?? Some say that the Polaris auto is a P.O.S. because they break down all the time and the parts are too expensive... Other say that it is really a beginners quad. I dont really care if its a little under powered... I just dont want to buy junk! Does anyone out there know what these quads are about? Thanks!

Last year I went to Colorado with some friends to go and do a 1000 mile off road ride with a couple of Enduro clubs. It was the best ride I have ever done in my life!!! There are off road clubs from all over the west coast to the mid west that meet up once a year to do this ride. There is a private invitational ride/race that has been going on for the last 23 years. Its called the Colorado 1000. It started with a couple of L.A. County Firemen and Cops that were into riding off road in Colorado. Over the years it has grown from a couple of riding buddies once a year to over 120 riders every year now that get together and ride from Dolores Co through the rockys to Aspen than back! We stay in a different town just about every night. Along the ride we stay in these little towns like Lake City, Crested Butte, Ouray and so on. The scenrey going over some of these passes on the rockys is unreal! There are passes we hit that are better than 14000 feet above sea level. Bear pass that goes down into Telluride Colorado is just amazing! When you come over this ridge you are about 2000 feet above town. The views are just awsome! There is a old power house that has a water wheel that hangs off of a cliff about 1500 feet above this trail. The waterfall coming off of the house is amazing! Well its that time again... My bike is loaded in the truck and my bags are packed! I am leaving the house in Big Bear Lake, Ca and driving straight to Colorado :porn: !! Its going to be a lot of and and but most of all :porn: I will post this years pictures when I get back next weekend. If there are any Enduro riders on the Dumont Dune Riders site that would like to do this ride than P.M. me and Ill give the information to set up next years ride! There is another club that puts on a ride like this one but its called the Colorado 500. Its costs 3 times more than the 1000 ride and the rules are to much to deal with! Sorry for the but I really live for these kind of rides! Its a great way to get ready for the up coming Dumont season!

Ash and RAGDOLL MX are right on the money.. If you are really looking to get your C.C.W. Premit than you should go to one of the classes the Sheriffs department puts on. The class is cheap and you will learn the responsibility and consequences that go along with having such a licence. I was with Sheriffs Department for a few years in your area and have seen a couple of shootings where good people were forced in defending there familys lives or their own lives by deadly force. Its not like everyone sees on T.V. If you shoot to stop the threat you may go to jail for a long time until the investigation is over! The average shooting in civil court can cost you the Victim around 2.5 million dollars in damages. It gets very expensive. If you do not conceal your weapon properly in public and some one calls in a "Man With A Gun" to the local P.D. Or S.O. If the responding officers get into a wreck, YOU are responsible for all damages in that wreck! It really sucks that these street pukes can carry anything they want and usually get away with it, But if Joe Citizen wants to carry a firearm to protect his family or his own life than he is put through hell in doing so! I feel that the average hard working Joe today should have a firearm to protect themselves. You would be shocked if you knew just how bad Law Enforcement gets backed up when you really need them! Just look into the C.C.W. classes. If you think its what you want than go out to a gun range that rents hand guns and see what works for you. Dont just go out and buy the biggest gun they make find something that performs well with you. Good luck!
