ASA Safety Items At Dumont
Mr. Edgy replied to SandBlasted's topic in Dumont Regulations, Safety & BLM
Actually Vicki, I for one would have no problem renewing & paying for that renewal yearly. It seems a rather small price to pay for the amount of good it can possibly do. We all spend a great deal of money to pursue this sport. To put things in perspective, one can become or renew for the cost of 5 gallons of race fuel. I bet most of us don't hesitate to buy the fuel, or upgrade the toys, or think about that new hauler. Or get the new hauler and have to upgrade the truck! I hate to use ASA as an example....but I will. We auto renew with them and just write the check. Thats how I roll!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Only thing I can say is.......That's Riverside...along the 60 freeway -
It's an '06. Warranty was transferred at time of purchase. Just more tires to buy! How do you like the Rage'n? We bought the Blaze'n just before Warrior bought out National RV's Towable division. We love it. And Warrior has been right on with the couple of problems we did have.

AS members of the ASA we pledge not to support these types of gatherings and or activities. We may on occasion drop over the top of comp while duning but we never stay. At ISDSRA, this is seen as an "Unauthorized Organized Event". This gives the LEO's reason to shut things down as they see fit. Maybe it's a case of law enforcement being "flexible" instead of completely shuting things down. THE DUNERS CHECKERED FLAG PLEDGE WE FLY IT AND LIVE BY IT! TRASH: WE pack it in and WE pack it out ENFORCEMENT: WE live by the rules WE support law enforcement at the dunes* WE report major infractions RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLE, SAFETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT: WE act in a responsible manner Just my worth

the positive things from your Halloween trip
Mr. Edgy replied to dunefreak's topic in 2007/2008 Season
Finding that the further back from the fingers you are...the better the view is...majestic! 1st trip of the new season and not ejecting from the bike. Actually rode pretty good! missing the meet and great because...well we were on a kick a$$ ride that just was not going to stop! Realized my nephew was a hardcore rocker....hats off to you Jake. Spending time with my wife, kids & friends doing something that most people in the world could not even fathom. And will never experience. -
Thanks you guys. It sure makes a difference in fuel economy over the 2500HD with 8.1 gasser. Basically from my house to Baker on 14 gallons of fuel towing at approx 65mph give or most of the time take a few mph. Pretty much stock. I replaced the air filter and intake tube with a Tru-Flo kit. Did a small 2" lift front and back. Side step bars, tires and rims. Ride Rite air bag set up, and Bilstien shocks. I do want to run a programmer or chip, I think it would really help when pulling long grades. However Cajon pass at 60 was very nice.

Yeah.. we do have some really "nice" areas here. Palos Verdes? That used to be my stomping grounds as a teen......I don't seem to recall any bad areas there. SAN PEDRO!!!!!!!!
-
Pretty much anywhere you go you can find a seedy place.(Even Dumont ) I'll bet even Hollywood or Palos Verdes has bad spots.....Damn that's not a bet...that's a lock! No offense intended, except for Bakerstucky CHEESE
-
Pretty happy with the way it all came together. Tows like a monster too! :fro_smokin: I never thought I'd own a Dodge ...at least after that POS '72 Dart with the 225 slant 6 in it. Go ahead....blast away Chevy and Ford guys.
-
Why.....You got something to hide? Skeletons in the closet so to speak? Should I have also listed Bakerstucky?
-
Compton, Mexico, Henderson.........Do the math
-
this aint mexico you a$$hat or compton.. Looks like Neveda plates on that trailer!
-
I liked the new location. And I bet if you asked people that camped at Little Dumont, they would say the same. As far as speed limit signs.....The same would apply as around camps. "Stupid is as stupid does"
-
Isn't there already a loader and an operator on hand????????????????????????????
-
I got one word......Wow! Very crowded but not as bad as some trips "Most" people were very considerate Note to driver of "Kaos". 10 feet of distance between you and my group of riders resting on a dune is not enough. Considering at the time the sideways nature of your rig seemed a little out of control. :rant_on: I did not see one other person from DDR but Barefoot/Car at the North Pole on Saturday We put in over 130 miles on the two wheelers this weekend  My Bro-In-Law rides like a madman at all times. Dude you are not in my will or on any of my insurance policies. Maybe thats why he tried to kill me???? A new 10 Paddle tire will keep people off your 6 Friends that get stuck before anyone else arrives suck However....the spot he got stuck in has become the new camp spot / quarter mile west of vendors People do not like two guys dressed as Slipknot roaming into their camps to deliver candy. That was me I think I drank an equal amount of beer to miles rode My new Dodge pulls anything, anywhere, at anytime, even in two wheel drive My daughter was like a postage stamp....stuck to my a$$ on every ride Red skys at night In a nutshell, a really fun first weekend. No one hurt, no equipment failure, and some really good riding.

What's a "tacoma ma" or a "taco mama" or a "ta coma ma"??? And on a side note: BALLTOE
-
"Dave's Not Here Man" More than likely there will be a party at damn near every camp. But all are welcome :fro_smokin:
