I am perfectly aware of that. Do any of those other manufacturers have a shop in Pomona? Do they work directly with factory race teams like Hinson Racing? Are they involved in product R&D before units hit the market. They might well be, but for my money, I am going where I know all these items to be factual. Thanks for the info!

I have two blown discs in my back as we speak. A quad or dirt bike set up properly highly reduces a lot of those associated issues. I ride two wheels anyway. I don't ride a quad unless it is a nightride or we are putting to the hill.

I am pretty sure you can re-valve the newer shocks on all the "race" quads. Probably alot less expensive than the aftermarket set up's. However, you can only do so much. Unlike the aftermarket set up's the factory shocks cannot be re-sprung. I personally am a fan of PEP products. And they will custom make for you. IE: riding style, weight, experience, etc. I would never trade a true 450 race quad for a dual sport quad. IMO

I hate telemarketers who call and act like they spoke to you in the past. When you know you have never...ever had any conversation with this individual. And then they get real A$$ BURNED when you call them out. Or the telemarketer who calls as soon as you sit down to eat dinner. I came up with a strategy that seems to work. Ask them for their home # and what time they usually eat. Than tell them you will be glad to call them back at that time.

Guys, We / our group does around 5 trips a year to ISDSRA / Glamis. We have camped on Gecko, in the Flats, the Washes and further down south...Gordon's Well & Buttercup. Usually Thanksgiving and the week between X-Mas & New Years is at Gordon's Well. It is a better family atmosphere. However, we do a "boys" weekend at the begining of each season, kind of a shakedown run, and stay at the pads on Gecko. The other couple of times a year we go we stay in the washes. Usually 10 or higher. The further in you go, the less people / A$$HATS. It's just like Havasu, if you want to part of the party scene, you go where everyone else is. If you want to ride and camp with little or no problems, you find a more secluded area. I have only been doing this for 10 years now....I guess I'm a newbie. We have never had any problems camping or riding at Glamis other than noise late into the night. Just my worth.
