  1. Friday: Go to Havasu, meet up with some friends, drink, drink, drink & drink. Saturday: Do all yard work, work on boat, service swamp cooler, go on lake with friends, drink, drink, drink, & drink. :fro:  Sunday: Finish honey do list, ski my a** off, be glad house and boat are ready for this season, go home.
  2. I wear the SIDI Techno Flex's. I have wide feet and also suffer from the "fat ham" syndrome. They fit great and there was virtually no break in time. They are even comfy when riding a quad.
  3. Some Universities have a broadcast system in place. When a student registers, they are required to sign up for text service thru the school. Most kids have cell phones and all of them use texting as a way to further communicate. The school can send a broadcast text to all students who registered. This is a very easy way to get messages out. Not perfect ...but better than most other avenues. :shout: :shout: :shout: :shout:

    Supercross

Been the last 5 years in a row. Every year it gets worse and worse. More action in the stands than on the track. Too many A$$HATS. Havasu sounds much "calmer"
  5. Gordon's Well. Mid 50's at night, Hi 70's during the day. Two Pick-up's, four motorcycles, and one (HUGE) cooler.
  6. Dude, no disrespect. I am also a proponent of the constitutional right to bear arms. I just don't think any gun laws can stop this kind of thing. Obviously this kid was delusional and or schizophrenic. :smoker:
  7. How long did it take you to get Pete to stop wearing the Do-Rag and the Giant Gold Chain? :smoker:
  8. Technically the gun was purchased illegally. But the illegality lies on the buyer in this instance. If this kid had a background check done in any state in this nation, he would have been issued a gun. Maybe not that day but... A background check will not turn up psyc probs or meds. Unless there was criminal activity. He lied on his application, there is no way they can check what a doctor has prescribed you. The guy was a nut, watch the news tonight, you will see why there was a 2 hour delay between shooting sprees.
  9. I missed 1. :angry22: :angry22: :angry22:
  10. I don't like to be in close proximity to large ships. Like at the docks. I fear falling between the ship and the dock, or going under the ship. The reason they can never find those f'd up sea creatures is because they hide under the ships :ahhhhh:
  11. I love the edit at the end. If that doesn't make you laugh your a$$ off you must be braindead!! :ahhhhh:
  12. That's what makes want to keep riding. Talk about total control. Wow!
  13. SWEEEEEEEET !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ahhhhh: :dunce:
  14. Thank you Bob, and I am still considering the Dodge H.O.
  15. Ask the dude that owns "Dunes Edge Storage" just outside Glamis. I bet he's making a killing. He also stores all the rentals there.
  16. At least with the WR "6th" gear a$$crack is possible. Just something to consider.
  17. My wife and my daughter ride 250 four strokes. In the sand I would stay with the 450. I had a 1998 WR400 and had the bike all YZ'd out and it was a great bike.....however, my CRF450 makes it seem like I was riding a TURD.
  18. Sounds like a good time to meet. With daylight savings time in effect the ride after will be bitchin. We'll try to be there. We usually do a sundown run anyway.
  19. I wouldn't call 60,000 miles an indicator of anything.....60,000 miles, sh*t, some people drive that in a year. Plus I'm sure that rail of yours doesn't run a Dodge motor
  20. I currently own a 2500HD / 2001. I could not wait to get one. So I bought it before it was availible with the Duramax. I have the 8.1 gasser. It has just over 100,000 miles. I want a diesel bad. I have been really researching this topic and I think each truck has its own pluses and minuses. Chevy has always had a better ride than Dodge or Ford. The Dodge and Ford have proven engines. The Chevy has the Allison trans. If it is pure torque you want, the Dodge has them all beat. (You cannot run an auto trans behind their H.O. motor because the motor will grenade the trans. You have to run the 6 speed manual.) Izusu has been making commercial diesels for a very long time. So.........................for me it's going to be a Chevy with Duramax and Allison. I almost "settled" for the Cummins wrapped in crap, what was I thinking?????? :dunce:
  21. I have a 31' tow behind with triple axles and I run a double Sway-Away system. The cost is negligible when compared to an overturned trailer in the middle of the freeway. Basically for me, the whole way to Dumont or Glamis is freeway driving or freeway speeds. I probably don't need a double set-up, but the hitch was made for it and I went that way.
  22. How about "Hawaii Five-O" Now that's old school. Book'em Dano!!!
  23. Me the wife, the kids and six other families will be there. Most of us will be in on Thursday evening. Total of around 25. Probably be against the finger dune across from crapper # 3.
  24. That picture looks disturbingly familiar. (REDSWR) ??????????????? :surrender:
  25. Right next to the wall. Outlet in wall, sewer dump in driveway next to wall. Works out well.
