LOL! Yes, you guessed it! We met Joe Gibbs this year. It was really ironic because I met up with a friend from college yesterday, who happens to be Joe Gibbs' niece. He came up to the suite this morning and I took a picture with him and sent it to her! Small world!!!

We'll be at NASCAR tomorrow (in Las Vegas). Anyone going???

I have a couple mean looking Border Collies! Ok, it's just another excuse to post pet pics!!! :kitty: :poke: :poke: :poke:

Drinking games! LOL!! We still play Thumbmaster, even at random moments. I used to play Quarters, Mexicali and Thumper in college (and after college too). The duct tape 40's could be really scary to play, but fun to watch!

I ride a Honda, but I would actually recommend the Yamaha 250. Our friends had both the Honda 250 and the Yamaha 250. Both were nice quads, but the Yamaha was lighter and faster.

Teal would be cool, too!

I was going to suggest going 4 wheelin' near Goodsprings and going to the Pioneer Saloon - we just did that. But then, you said no bar!

Very cool! I like the orange frame!

All I know is that we are HEAVY! Our trailer dry is around 8500 lbs and the max weight is 13,000. Would love to weigh it someday! When we put the Rhino in it, we noticed the difference! :rhino:

Yay Cleanup!!! We had so much fun last year in our Rhino!!! Coincidentally, we were planning on going to Dumont that weekend. I was so excited to find out Cleanup was that weekend!!!

I already wrote a letter under tomself.com. This is really stupid. I can't believe what we've come to. Like the economy isn't bad enough! I've written so many letters lately to politicians about the stupid things going on in the world!

Awww... he is so cute!!! He looks very healthy! We used to see a bunch of coyotes, when we lived in Orange County. I've seen a couple near our house here and one at Hoover Dam.

I recently wrote a letter to our senators regarding the government's latest attempt to keep us out of PUBLIC lands. Here is a response from Senator Ensign: Thank you for contacting me regarding the Omnibus Public Lands Management Act of 2009 (S. 22). I appreciate the opinion of every Nevadan and am always grateful to those who take the time to inform me of their views. The federal deficit is nearly $1.2 trillion. I believe that Congress and the federal government must be better stewards of the tax dollars Nevadans send to Washington. As you may know, the Omnibus Public Lands Management Act is a compilation of over 150 pieces of legislation with an estimated cost of $10 billion. At a time when our economy is struggling and so many Americans are out of work, I believe that Congress must reconsider its priorities and eliminate wasteful Washington spending. Some of the questionable priorities included in S. 22 are $1 billion in funding for a water project in California to save 500 salmon; $3 million for a "road to nowhere" through the Alaska wildlife refuge; $5 million for botanical gardens in Hawaii and Florida; and nearly $4 million to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine, Florida, in 2015. S. 22 would also designate more than 2 million acres as federal wilderness land, eliminate major recreation areas, and reduce our ability to obtain more domestic sources of energy. I do not believe this is an efficient use of taxpayer dollars when the National Park Service already has a $9 billion backlog of existing projects that need to be funded. In addition, the Bureau of Land Management maintains that a provision in S. 22 will take nearly 9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and over 300 million barrels of oil out of production in the state of Wyoming alone. This is a step in the wrong direction at a time when the United States is trying to decrease its dependence on foreign energy sources. Although this lands bill includes some important legislation for Nevada, it is being pushed through with the inclusion of billions of dollars in wasteful Washington spending and with the voices of millions of Americans being shut out. Senate consideration of this bill has been a closed process with no amendments, which is disappointing because overwhelmingly Americans want more transparency in government. Given the large amount of wasteful spending and the closed consideration process, I could not support this bill. Please rest assured that I will continue to support legislation that will honestly address America's land management priorities without unnecessarily burdening future generations with additional debt. Once again, thank you for contacting me on this very important issue. Should you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to write or e-mail me via my website at http://ensign.senate.gov. Sincerely, JOHN ENSIGN United States Senator JE/u1 Your thoughts and opinions are important. Unfortunately, any replies to this e-mail will not be received and processed. LOL! That was ME!!! I had forgotten that it was President's Day weekend until I saw your rig with the DDR sticker. We were unable to go for the whole weekend, which made me kind of sad, but excited when I saw other peeps got to enjoy themselves! Hope you had fun!!!

WOW! :ah: That sucks! Hey guess who might be picking up your fav air freight account? It's still up in the air though - no pun intended!

This has to be the dumbest law I've heard of - well, except closing down riding areas. From what I understand, this could also affect private sales. I don't have kids and this pi$$es me off! Here's a link to a congressman's website that supports off roading. He has a prewritten letter to sign and send. I submitted a letter - took less than a minute.... http://www.tomself.com

Wow!!! This is unbelievable!!! :?:

What a bunch of SOB's. We will have to secure our gas cans when we go out there!

OMG - I showed Mark the 70 smiley and now he's looking for a 70. He used to have one years ago as a kid! LOL!!!!

We were sitting at vendor row eating on Sunday. These people next to us were talking about how their friends caught someone trying to nab a cooler out of their Rhino! We heard this and moved our Rhino! Usually we worry about things like keys, helmets, camera, etc... A cooler, though??? I still think someone took our billet gas cap last year.

We ate there on Sunday! I like that Beefy Boys has somewhere to sit!

Sounds like everyone had fun! We went to Dumont yesterday just for a day trip. Blue Steel had to work on Saturday and today (which sucks because it's his b-day today). Happy Birthday Blue Steel! Anyway, we took the Rhino. It ran great. We went all over the dunes! We had fun with our friends Joe & Brian. Thanks to the Millers for letting us hang out at their camp! They were next to the rail that rolled. Amazing how good it looked after that! Vendor row had some new vendors. We didn't pack a lunch - was nice to just eat there! Talked to some guy who had a scanner and heard all the action going on. The BLM was looking for Rhino that handed off a Dumont pass to a vehicle. We saw someone doing that as we were leaving - right in front of the BLM! It would have been a perfect day, if I hadn't come down with the flu. Slept part of the day in the truck. Then, it took us almost 3 hours to get home because of an accident on the 15 North before stateline.

Yes, Blue Steel just bought a t-shirt from him last weekend. The store is really nice and neat. He is moving to the front of the building soon.
