Kitcat replied to Richard Cheese's topic in General Chat
So, what about this web footed lizard creature that's found everywhere, but they keep closing dune areas because of it????? And the endangered weed (who classifies a weed as endangered - most people use weed killer)!!! OPEN KELSO DUNES!!! :beer_bang: -
Yes, they do have screens. Bear and Monkey filled the screens with all their hair! They have small tubs for small dogs and cats. :beer_bang:

Don't give me any ideas... we might just have to get a real Rhino!!! Poor husband???? He had a cat (Haley, the tabby) before he met me! And he named our last 2 cats Shakira and Beyonce!!! I'm cat (and dog) crazy!!! :beer_bang:

I've seen those dogs before. Our dogs used to do flyball and one of the teams had a couple of them.

OMG - I love Spoonman - I haven't heard that in forever and I think I still have the CD!!!

We have to put some new songs on our i-pod. Every time we make a trip somewhere it's the same songs over and over again! For a while there Gold Digger was our #1 song and although it's a cool song, it's neither of our favorites!!! We've got to download some new tunes. Here are some of the songs that now play all the time.. Stronger - Kanye West Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash Sexy Back - Justin Timberlake Gold Digger (now #3) Wind it Up (and every other Gwen Stefani song - thanks to Mark) Beautiful Liar (Mark's favorite video) Before He Cheats (Carrie Underwood) The Next Episode (Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg) Get Low (Lil John) Under My Thumb (Rolling Stones) As you can see, we have a wide variety of music!!! What are you favorites?

That sounds rich!

That's funny! Cute little girl!

I know you love my dog photos. Just for that, I'll post a couple of the cats!!!!

I used to give them baths at our old house, but what a pain! And with all that hair, they would clog the drains worse than me!! This place is nice and they even have a bath tub in the back behind a little wall, if your dogs go crazy around other dogs. Yeah, my dogs are really crazy!!! I don't do dog parks or play dates either. One of the last times we took the dogs to the park, they herded all the other dogs into one area. It was cool to watch, but the other dog owners weren't as amused as us!

That's too bad. I hope they were insured! What's with all the theft lately? I feel like we have to lock up everything!!! Even the gas cans!!
-
Aww - they wouldn't be as handsome if I shaved them (and they'd get cold)! Monkey does his own version of spin dry, running in circles!! We need a doggie smiley!

Hey, for those of you who live out here in Hendertucky, I found a great place to take the dogs after a weekend of them playing in the sand... It's Soggy Dog - a do-it-yourself grooming place. They supply you with the shampoo, towels, face wash, brushes and an apron. They have these cool bathtubs at waist height. Great for my furry little monsters AND I don't have a mess to clean up at home. I used to get the dogs groomed a while ago, but at $35+ each, it got costly. We tried hooking up the hose to the faucet inside to give them warm water, but what a pain in the A$$! I discovered this place by my house - off Stephanie & Horizon Ridge, next to Timbers. It's awesome! $12 per medium - large dog ($8 for smaller dogs/cats) and Thursday is half price day! Here's a picture of my dogs b/c I know how much Dune Freak loves when I post pet pics!!!

OMG - that pic is so funny!!! Brokeback all the way!!

Yeah, the sand was a little wet. We started on the left side and inched our way up ( I kept yelling "turn out, turn out" but Mark wanted to see how far we could go)!!! We made it up Banshee, no problem!

I see so many times that parents are friends with their kids, but parenting comes later. Then, their kids run them over! It's good that you're making the effort to get him to abide by your rules. I used to think my parents were such a pain in the rear, but now I really appreciate them! It was great to have someone there to support me in my efforts to grow up!

My mom doesn't even shop at Wally World and she works there!!!! I reached out to those anti-Walmart orgs to see if they could help my mom with her accident. They never replied to my emails. Figures! Just a bunch of political lobbyists that don't give a da** about real people. Just like the idiots trying to shut down riding areas. They work and live in ivory towers and have no clue about the real world!!!
-
OMG - we totally noticed that last night! Tons of carts everywhere!!! :chug:

Rhino's are still the hottest thing on the market
Kitcat replied to dunefreak's topic in Side x Side Talk
That sucks! And the poor guy didn't have insurance either! -
The sand was still wet, when we went out there today. A little bumpy in some sections, but for the most part, it was awesome!!! :chug:

Yeah, that was the best NASCAR experience we had so far! We made friends with the Marketing folks, so they let us go down to the pit during the race. :chug:

I know, there's a tip jar everywhere you go - the local sandwich shop, Starbucks, etc. It seems to be never ending. I used to wait tables in college and worked hard for my tips. So, I'm supposed to tip someone a couple bucks for just doing their job. They didn't even have to walk somewhere to deliver it??? :chug:

Walmart is LAME and they treat their employees like crap! My mom works at one in Arizona, mainly to get some benefits and her benefits are terrible. And, she fell because management didn't fix a leak in the deli and tore her rotator cup (?). :chug: We only go to Walmart if we're really desperate (like how we needed racheted tie downs for the Rhino). So, we ended up at Walmart b/c the ones at Lowes weren't quite right and Home Depot was closed! We go to Costco (of course) for all bulk items and Albertson's and Trader Joe's for everything else! I like to go to Trader Joe's at night b/c sometimes they have wine tastings!!! :xmas4:
