  1. How much is it to fill up with water at Valero? I keep forgetting to ask, when we go there to dump. :dunce:
  2. You'd have to get one of those Ronald on a Bench statues! I used to work for a company that sold playplaces to McDonalds. I got this letter one time from an owner operator in Canada about how this kid got his head stuck between Ronald's legs. I read it to the whole office and people were crying it was so funny! The fire dept had to come out and saw off Ronald's leg to get the kid out! :ahhhhh: Now they fill in the area between his legs! Everytime I see one of those things, I crack up!!!!! :dunce: (I know this is off topic, but way too funny not to share)!!!
  3. I love that quote and the one "You looked like someone just walked over your grave" ... or something like that. That movie has so many great lines. I'm horrible at remembering movie lines. I used to know just about every line from Pretty Woman because it was the only movie me and my roommates had in college. If we didn't get to Blockbuster in time, we watched that movie!!! The one line my husband and I always say is: "Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full" ...from Top Gun! :mc_smiley:
  4. How old is the toy hauler??? What kind of options do they have on it???
  5. What a beautiful dog! How awesome that you rescued her from the shelter. :mc_smiley: All my animals, except Bear, were rescues. :mc_smiley:
  6. Yeah, I know... but people love showing off their pet pics!!! Bring em on!!! By the way.... love the dog smiley!!!
  7. Okay, I started the Show us your pet pics thread in the meet & greet section (not knowing about this thread). Anyway, here's some pictures of our dogs, when they used to compete in flyball. Now we spend our weekends going duning instead!!! :jester:
  8. Pretty dog. Was she a border collie????
  9. Yeah, I'd go even further and post an ad on this website and the Glamis Dunes website... and Craigslist, too.
  10. UH... 5th wheels & lifted trucks don't always mix well together! Dodge Cummins is still the way to go! :jester:
  11. What's wrong with shaving your cat???? I have border collies to herd my shaved cats!!!
  12. Blast from your past.....Your all time favorite childhood programs. T.V series...... 3's Company, Charlie's Angels, Love Boat, Fantasy Island Cartoons....... Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry, Pepe la Pue Movies.......... Benji, ET, Polterguist, The Shining :mc_smiley:
  13. Very cool - thanks!!! :mc_smiley:
  14. Yeah, I'm not retired and I like to have fun!!! The people up the street told me, I won't tell on you riding your quad up and down the street, if you don't tell them we have a home based business! Kind of funny! Our association is pretty leniant, too. I'm just concerned that the neighborhood looks okay and the landscaping is nice.
  15. It's only $25? Wow - I thought it was more than that. We have to take our rig to Cal's to get the shower fixed, so I'll see what's entailed with getting the 2nd sway control. It might just give me peace of mind, if anything!!! Thanks!
  16. Yeah, our truck is lifted, but we have E rated tires. My cousins got new tires a while back and although they were supposedly E rated, they didn't work very well (I'm not sure what brand they were). We were on or way to Pismo and they almost turned around because the trailer was all over the place.
  17. Yeah, we do that. And we take it off, when we back up the rig.
  18. I'm the president of our association! I got on the board, so other people would leave me alone! I'm sure my neighbors hate me because we bring our TH and our friends to the house to get ready to go camping. HAHA!!
  19. A whopping $195 a month. We were having a hard time getting a storage spot, where we could actually get the rig in the spot. My inlaws have their 5th wheel stored there, so we just did it. We're still looking to see if there's anything else out there. They also have a small (5X12) storage behind the rig, where we took all our totes and random holiday stuff from home. They have a dump there, too. It's $5 on the honor system.
  20. Yeah, we were pretty light yesterday with just one quad and we had it just over the axles.
  21. It's 30 feet with 3 axles. We normally put our 2 quads in the trailer, but yesterday we just had the one, since we sold the Yamaha 660 in Dumont. It was kind of windy yesterday, too. This may sound like a dumb question, but does having the double sway control help much, when semi's pass you or in the wind? Our friends that have tow behinds said they feel the same thing and they have one sway control. I just thought I'd get an honest opinion from you all on this.
  22. That's cool - post your pictures!!! We watched the end of NASCAR yesterday, when we got home from Dumont. We opted not attend the race and my company's driver, Denny Hamlin finished 3rd! Of course!
  23. We have a single sway bar on our hitch. How many of you have a dual sway and have seen a difference? Is it worth the investment? We've done fine so far, but we do get sucked in, when big semi's pass us on the 15 fwy. We also noticed yesterday that the wind picked up on the Baker grade north on the 15. We just slow down until we feel comfortable. I was just wondering if the dual sway would be worth putting on the hitch.
  24. WOW - that's a lot! The MSRP on your trailer must be high. I think ours was around $30K. I like the PRTYTYM! That's cool!
  25. Mine was Keystone Raptor.
