the only prob ith smoothies in front is ... isnt it 4 wheel drive? forget any traction with the smoothies for 4 wheel.. makes that useless if you go paddles go all 4 its not bad having them in front. If you want one tire, go with 25" tires no more. If you have a summer set and a winter (dune) set see above

not that I do it now, but I have 150 gallons fresh water, and 50 black, 50 gallon grey, so I could in theory dump the grey which I do in Utah becasue of showers etc it fills like in 3-4 days and then we still have 3 days or so of filling the grey when we do come home I do as you mentioned above.. Just a reason why you might be tempted is all

Ok I am going to say this, and then I am done with it....... well then I am going to call BLM and give them an ear full I went to the BLM web site and read this IMPORTANT PASS INFORMATION BLM IS PHASING OUT SELLING PASSES AT DUMONT DUNES. PLEASE BUY YOUR PASS OFF-SITE. Show your support of the local gateway communities! Then they will support you and your recreation at Dumont Dunes! I havent seen BLM there except on holiday weekends, so how do you buy a season pass??? oh wait I see now at the barstow BLM office (yeah right) or mail (again yeah right)

yeah the WHOLE pass thing is a MESS I know Pete posted all the information, and I bet you didnt know that according to the way it is as of now unless they change you cant use that $40 towards a season pass. oh and when I bought the Thanksgiving pass at the Shell I asked for a season pass (missed that part sorry Pete) and I said oh well I can use towards a season pass right?? he said yeap good as money just keep the pass when you go to get a season one!!!! So my big question is.... WTF was the BLM plan? the way I see it they are LOOSING money with this whole increase thing and NOT having a way to pay at the Dunes except on holiday weekends. I truly think they should re-think having a vendor at the dunes all the time or a pay station there with a way to pay for a season pass. I know of quit a few folks that have been out there before the season pass deal came about and would have paid if they could but no way to do that. and WHY is it that you cant get a seaon pass anywhere but the trailer at Dumont??? what a brite idea that was????? ok I am done...... for now... sorry

I like that they wont keep your shiat for months on there lot while they wait for parts. I ran into someone in baker this weekend and he said they have used double eagle and had nothing but great things to say about them!!!! I know I will go to if I need more work on the TH!!!!!!

my families thoughts and prayers go out to the little guy and his family get better!! I couldnt imagine seeing my little man hurt.

oh boy me and Xmas lights. we started the weekend before Thanksgiving as we knew we'd be gone. I will have about 30,000 lights and all sync'd to music, transmitting on an FM local radio freq.. will post vid when done :dance:

I guess I remmeber you had a post that said support the local community, and that stuck well I am SURE I am not the only one that got that confused.. as I really was trying to do the right thing.... well the $40 was worth it even if I cant trade up I guesss but that was cheap considering the other stuff I spent $$ on

OK maybe I was confused.. well obviosly I was I wanted to not have to wait and to also try to HELP the BLM by buying my pass off site so I stopped at the Shell in Baker and wanted to buy the season pass, was told nope only the week pass $40 so OK thought must have not had the $hit together yet. now as I read that other folks had them, and looked at the PICTURE that pete took of the sign. That you only get credit for passes bought PRIOR to Nov 21st can go toward a season pass. SO that means that $40 pass WILL NOT go toward the season pass?????? Am I wrong?? YNOT??? sailaway? If So I guess I should have been like others and bought at the gate. BUT I thought that was what they were trying to AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
