^^^^^ what Nick said, not all LCD, and Plasma are the same!! I only sell LG, but they are on the higher end, Sony is also a VERY good one. But it all is about $$$$ check out Sams, and look at them side by side. I can TRULY tell you. What may look good to you doenst to someone else and vice versa. but check around, also make sure it has a HDMI input for the high end AV gear, and does 1080P the rest of the resolutions will come if it does 1080P. Also depends on what you hook to it. so make sure it has component input as well, and or DVI (same as HDMI without the audio follow if you have a digital audio reciever. Oh he** I can go on and on. stay away from projection, thats old school. 42" and below go LCD,above 42 (like 50") plasma my 2 cents and I have installed 100's of them
