  1. I truely believe that Daniel will make a full recovery from this because he has age on his side. I say this because at the age of 14 I was hit by a dune buggy in the Mojave Desert. Along with various other injuries, I had "minor" bleeding and bruising on the right side of my brain and my brain did swell also. Now some 23 years later, the modern medical technology is amazing. I truely hope and believe that Daniel will make a full recovery from this and it is reassuring to know that he has a great family base to stick it out with him. Stay strong for Daniel..................... :freakin_nuts:
  2. Any of you guys know of a good off-roed racing game for the PC except for Dirt?? I bought that the other day and it didn't work in the PC. Something about having a "dual-layer DVD rom" which I don't have. But any other suggestions would be great.
  3. I found these pictures browsing my files the other day and figured I would post them before I delete them. They are kind of funny................ Found this in Littlerock, Ca. on my way to Dumont one trip.......... Saw this coming home from work one night and HAD to take the pic.........
  4. The news just get brighter and brighter everyday......... Keep up the good work there Lil' Man!!!! I think everybody needs to do a little celebratory dance for Daniel............ :fro_smokin: I'm still having good thoughts for the guy, and it sounds to me like he is at the end of the woods at this point which is AWESOME!!!!!!

  6. C'mon Daniel, you can do it!!!!! You have an entire community here anxiously awaiting for you to wake up completely and an entire community that is supporting you! Daniel was probably thinking to himself that Uncle Tim REALLY needs to get a haircut, and for goodness sakes man, stand CLOSER to that razor of yours!!.......

  12. Best of luck to ya on making it.... I worked on a pit crew out here on the west coast for about 14 straight years and it was a TON of fun!!!!!! 13. C'mon Daniel................I know you can do it little guy!!!!!!! :chug:
  14. Come on by!! Lobster with melted garlic butter...mmmmmmm!! Sometimes we have marinated tri-tip or marinated carne asada as a midnight snack around the campfire which really hits the spot at about 1 am... Normally though, it is burgers, chili dogs, the usual camping suff.
  15. Call me a freak, but I've been know in my group to cook steak and lobster out there. With corn, garlic bread, the whole bit. It is a little much, but it's just fun to have steak and lobster out in the middle of the desert. My mom did it 20+ years ago when we used to camp in the Mojave Desert and I guess I've just carried on the tradition in her honor. :chug:
  16. I have to agree on the "No dumpsters at Dumont". I have always packed out what I pack in out there. I don't have an enclosed trailer or even a truck to haul my trash home in. I put it strategically in my rail on the trailer and I even strap it down if need be. My last trip out there I hauled 7 bags of trash home. 5 were from me, and 2 were from just random trash I picked up around my camp or at comp. I'm glad to hear that it is working at Glamis because I have seen it look like a filthy, disgusting mess out there which is something I DO NOT want Dumont to look like...... Just take your trash home with you..........is that so hard???? :fro_smokin:
  17. It is great to hear that this young man has begun the proccess of coming out of his coma! Here's to you Daniel............... :eatdrink021: :mc_smiley:
  18. With the unfortunate accident that happened to little Daniel this past weekend, I was wondering if we have had any update on Charlie and his recovery??? I hope he's doing good..............................
  19. I was hit by a dune buggy in the Mojave desert when I was 14 yrs. old. I was in pretty bad shape. Broken bones, coma, the whole thing. Basically what this little guy is going through now. Knowing now what my parents went through, I can only imagine what the parents of this young boy are going through. I have nothing but good thoughts for the boy and his parents and hope all have a speedy recovery. Get well Lil' man!!!!................. :praying:
  20. I had to start it since I didn't go, besides, I'm bored at 2 am................LOL So everyone.............How did it go???? :fro_smokin: :angry2:
