Predu I think you are missing the point, when you are on a hill the pretty much everyone is traveling the same direction (up and down) then someone comes across wheeling (rail quad or bike does not matter) then the one coming across the hill should know better. Comp is used for racing and to come across the hill with a 3k lbs anything lacks common sense. So in this case yes the rail should have been the one to look out given the location. If this would have just happened out in the dunes then it may have been a different story. But like Pete stated before, this is about helping the guy (Charlie) that is in the hospital. Not who's bike got damaged or rail. Lets just keep this thread about helping Charlie and go argue somewhere else.

I am not going to name names, but someone is going to log on tonight and say who the driver is and possibly how to get ahold of them. I know the name, but since they said they already have it I am not going to post it. But if someone related to the accident needs it and does not have it PM me and I will tell you.

When you are wearing a helmet, have loud pipes and are racing with some other guys you don't always know from what direction the sound is coming. I personally hate when the rail drivers come racing and jumping across comp or banshee hill when they know everyone races up and down it. If you are going to be on those two hills you should be going in the same directions as the traffic on the hill, either up or down. That is just my opinion and I was not there but I have seen the same senario over and over, with people coming across the bottom or middle of the hill.

I think my family and his have some mutual friends, I was being told about this last night. I hope they are able to get him up and moving again.

Had a good time at the hill with Sandraptor, Aaron and Danny. I did not get to try Capt again, would have been fun. My bike pretty well, but still need to work on the setup and a few other things. I think my motor works well just need the other stuff to. Aaron's bike always seems to do well and Sandraptors bike was much faster this time out. But it was a fun weekend even if I did not do well.

I have to sayI hate that rail, we were doing a dune ride with rails leading and quads following, who ever was driving at that time would not stay on the peak and dropped out, everyone started closing the gap when he dropped out. Just when I went to close the gap, he came jumping through the middle of us and missed me by 5 feet. I don't know who was driving it at that time either, but since then I have hated that rail and don't feel sorry that it is wrecked!!!! I feel really bad for the guy on the Banshee and hopefully someone can come forward and give up the guy that was driving. I know it will be a while but I hope Charlie makes a full recovery!!
