Hey Ed who all is camping with you?
-
That would be cool, I agree, we need to get Chris out there and have some fun.
-
We are tying to get a group together to camp with, but as a backup would anyone mind two toyhauler parking with them?
-
What they said, carry a variety of parts for the most common bikes/quads would be great. What she said too!!!

Nice fix You know that Carlisle owns ITP! Not that it makes them a good trailer tire, but they make nice ATV tires.

I have had both Nitto's (now) and BFG's, I don't think that you can go wrong with either one IMO. I love the ride and the feel of these Nitto's, but I have not had them long enough to tell the wear. BFG's seem like a little bit harder tire and a little slippery in the rain, where the Nitto's seem to grab better. The Nitto's also seem to be a little bit quieter on the road noise side too. But like I said both are a very nice tire and which ever route you go, I think you will be happy.

I dont know that you would get any use from it, I believe that it is designed for higher compression motors. Also you have to drain your system after you use it, you can not let it sit inyour bikes tank or a plastic jugs. I would stick with lower octane fuel from what I have learned.

Can we just close this topic, I really think Aaron was just venting and the topic really did not require any additional comments. Right or wrong he was frustrated and vented, lets just move on and everyone drink a beer.

kick off weekend observations & trip reports
mineurbiz replied to RAGDOLL MX's topic in 2007/2008 Season
I had a great day trip, was cool to hangout the guys at the hill Good to meet you in person Kristin Pete as always nice talking with you and Anna Watching that tracker go up and down Banshee Hill was rather amusing Nice weather right when we pulled in even when the wind picked up a little. and not a new observation but -
Where you at Banshee Hill?
-
How stable feeling is it?
-
All I know is that I need to put my bike on a little bit of a diet and do some setup, but win or lose I will be at the hill on Halloween.
-
Ash does it have the ladder in the tailgate?
-
Congrats man, it is nice to have something to hind from the wind in!!!
-
There is a turn off on the left to go to Shashone and a terrible herbst gas station on the right, about 1 block behind the gas station there is a trailer park, you might be able to fill there.
-
Where are you coming from? We live in the northwest and even though it takes longer we go the back way into Pahrump and then through Shashone, you could get water in Pahrump.
-
I found a brake caliper laying on the sand at Banshee Hill, I did not plan on bringing back, but some how it ended up on the trailer. If any is or know someone missing one let me know.
-
I replied to both posts, we will see what happens. Worse case I will have a lectron and a FCR. That LTR did move out, it was cool to see another 450 based quad winning sorry capt had to!!! Agreed
-
I will check out that other carb, I still have my stocker or I might even just send it out and have it done. If by chance you do have a pic, let me know. This sport is to damn addicting!
-
There always seems to be one or two of them like that. I don't understand the whole they can can not even be on a trailer thing, sounds like he just wanted to be a jerk.

They day was a blast, Aaron if you have the picture of me racing capt, I would love to have a copy. Also I am buying the new gears this week for my bike and removing the nerfs, bumper and looking for some lighter front tires for Halloween. I was also a little disappointed with Capt, I rolled over to introduce myself and all he did was tell me that he just got his bike back together and did not have the air fuel mix right. I don't think you could have made up the amount of ground you needed to. I had just got my bike back and had not even ridden it or had a chance to tune mine either. I still have the stock gearing and from what Aaron said, I am way off of what I should be. You are a nice guy though and I look forward to seeing you at the hill on Halloween, but my bike will not be the same either (I hope). But it was a perfect morning for racing and I had a good time hanging with you all.
