Cheese- Looks like we are driving up the day of the event. It is on the 11th at CSUB. It goes from 5-6:30 pm. Then I drive back the next day. So if you want to meet up it has to be after the event. I am staying at the Doubletree Hotel also so if you know of some good grub around there we can do it there. Tim

Turns out that my 3rd generation ipod classic was used by a mac user and it won't talk to the windows platform on my computer. It won't charge or anything via USB but when hooked to a Mac computer thru a firewire it turns on immediately. Oh well, guess I am going to sell it on Ebay and try to recover some of my money. Still confused as to why my nano won't work when it did before on my computer.

Yea my ipod use to show on the side where you make your playlists. but now I can't even get the computer to know it is hooked up. I am off to an Apple store today to see what the issue is.

The 15 gig is new to me but used. My computer always saw the IPODs when connected but now it won't see either. I really want the 15 gig up and running before dumont. I will keep plugging away at this. Thanks for the replies!

Tried all my USB ports and got nothing. My wifes MP3 player works no problem on the computer. It seems to be an Apple problem with my computer.

I should get the orders in the next few days. Untill then I am not sure where I am staying, all depends on the per diem rate I get. (any suggestions for a hotel?) Food wise I am very low maintenance (NO SUSHI or Seafood) other than that I am up for just about anything. As long as they have Coors Light I am good!

I have 2 Ipods that I want to change my music around. When I plug them in I get the "USB Device not recognized" at the bottom of my screen. When I-tunes is up and running it doesn't show it on the left side of the screen like it use to either. I tried un-installing itunes and re-loading it but still nothing. I have looked for drivers and come up short. My 6 gig ipod is loaded with 1200 songs so I am good for Dumont with that one. But my 15 gig is empty and I can't load music so its a damn paper weight! Any Ideas or suggestions?

I am still waiting on orders, Not sure if I am there 2 nights or just the one. Still don't know where I am doing the event either.

I was watching the game at home and I thought I saw something but here in San Diego it lasted less than a second. I said something to the wife but I was the only one that saw it.

Looks like my work is sending me there for a couple days to recruit your finest you have to offer. I don't have the particulars as far as what college I am going to but I will be there the 11th of Feb. I will get in town sometime on the 10th and might stay till the 12th. If anyone wants to meet up for a dinner and show me what Bako has to offer that would be cool. I got the first round of drinks. I am bringing my trailer along with me and storing it at Bob's house for a couple days till I make my way back out that way for Presidents. My Duramax will pull it much faster up the pass than my motorhome will, plus I get paid mileage to go there so I am killing two birds with this trip. I know Cheese lives there so if anyone else is interested let me know and lets get something together.

As long as I get paid your Grandma can sign my checks! I have no problems with Obama at all. He wants the job and he got it. It just goes to show you that the race game is still far from over. All the black support he got and how it was finially "our turn". All the black celebs there. I wish the guy luck and he turns the economy around. But we all know it won't happen in 4 short years. He seems to be getting accepted around the world so it might be a good thing- only time will tell.

My work truck is a Dodge Megacab. It now has 25,000 miles on it. The first problems just started coming recently. I guess they are fly by wire for the throttle (no cables) and all of a sudden it would just stop running. It mainly did it a low speeds but when I drive in the mountains on dirt roads it gets pretty hairy!!! Had to send it back to the dealer 3 times to fix it. I almost died two times because the motor stopped on me on a turn on a dirt road ON A MOUNTAIN! A 200 foot roll down a hillside doesnt really appeal to me at this point im my life.

I took my trailer down to the scales today just to satisfy my curiosity. Truck and trailer (loaded) was 14k and change Just the trailer was 7320lbs. I didn't think my enclosed with the rail in it was that much!

Definately going!! trying to make it a yearly ritual. The Truggy is coming out again!

Glad you got the trailer back, Too bad it was stripped but atleast it's back in your posession! Was is with the same guys or was it sold to someone else?

Was the VIN # still there? What else was there for you to recover? Atleast you now can collect from insurance right? That sucks, hopefully you can go bigger on the new rail!
