A 2276 and a 2332 are basicially the same motor with the 2332 having a slightly bigger piston. If your contemplating doing either size motor I would highly suggest doing the 2276. It will have a thicker cylinder wall and will help keep the motor cooler. I had a 2276 in my chenowith 4 seat car and loved it. Make sure your trans is geared for the cam your going to use and the weight of the car. I did alot of homework on my car and it turned out perfect. You don't want to motor to be running out of RPM's and your still not ready to shift. It sucks going between gears because the trans isn't geard for the motor. Ask ISBB, I drove my car like a quad in Glamis. I was able to keep it in the power band and I had turning brakes. Also--- Dual carbs are the only way to go unless your going to turbo the thing. But be ready to to some tinkering to get them syncd. It takes a while to get it right but after some practice it gets fairly easy.

Very cool pictures!! We did a horse ride at that same spot where you took that pick of the horse and carriage. Inside that building they did the old time pictures, we did that as well.

It was down to $2.07 here for a while. Now it's $2.21

It's creeping back up now.

Cool, if we get to 5 orders right away I will do it asap. Yes it comes with everything needed to mount it to a hemet or a flat surface. Eff you guys and my music choice!! LOL I needed filler music and I didn't feel like doing it all professional and stuff this time. And yes you can hear the motor, but we had the microphone setting set wrong and all we got was wind noise.

Looks like fun... I never understood why law enforment officers take home their work ride and park it outside. That's just begging for the wrong type of attention.
-
ok Randog is in... I am thinking this might be a bad time with the holiday's so lets give this some time to develop and I will place the order in about a month or so. So if your interested but can't swing it right now, I will wait a bit and we can do it in January some time. But get your name on the list so I can keep my brother in law updated. I know he has a few on the shelf right now.

I can get the following deal from my brother in law on the camera is we do a group purchase. 5 cameras- $175 ea. 7 cameras- $168 ea. 10 cameras- $162 ea. lets start a list if anyone is interested.

http://www.goprocamera.com/ My brother in law can't really make a deal on the price of the camera but he will ship it for free. It is the motorsport wide version and not the other one.
-
The camera was my brother inlaws and was brand new so he didn't know how to set the microphone settings. He read the instructions (duh) and found it had to be on the low setting, he had it on medium! The camera kicks a$$ and is pretty cheap. I think under $200. It comes with a mount for a helmet or a suction cup that we had attached to my hood. He sells them at his work, If you guys want one let me know and I will get you more info. I will find out the brand name so you can do a little research on it. It will take 58 minutes of video.

Here is some incar video I took. The sound didn't comeout at all so I just threw in some music. Hopefully the camera will be better for Presidents. Pete- If you want to move this to the Glamis thread go ahead.

Now you guys can go to Glamis and Gordons Well with us!

Welcome to my neck of the woods. I am an hour south of you guys.

Nice color! My first car was a 63 VW ragtop with rusted out door hinges!!!!

A half mile sooner and he would have hit the school. I just wonder why if he had engine troubles he didn't return to the ship he launched from? Unless the ship was too far to reach and Miramar was closer. But why risk a community when you know you have a problem? Not to monday Quarterback the pilot, He did what he could with what he had left, and it could have gotten real bad.

Atleast you took the drivers seat out to save on weight on the hoist...
-
I think I paid about $600 for my set. I had a hard time paying that much for a set of shocks back then but when I hit the sand it was the best money I spent. A smooth ride makes you much more comfortable and you enjoy it that much more.
-
$2.25 here
-
That needs to be on a shirt!!!
-
No I don't have a source anymore sorry. I am sure they were KYB's but I might be wrong. Either way it was a coilover shock and the right springs for the weight of the car made all the difference in the world.
-
I had KYB shocks and Eiboch springs in the rear of my car and loved the ride they gave me. The springs were progressive. In the front you might want to check how much nitrogen you have in them and see what rate springs you have. Softening one of them should help out the ride quality. The ride heigth is going to be hard to change without effecting the camber of the tires.

I am probably wrong but for some reason I am thinking it is a prowlers shifter. It's beem along time since I had a mid-engine car.

Stolen sandcar from Glamis near wash 14
bp-guy replied to dunefreak's topic in Lost & Found or Stolen
We saw that car when coming back from Gordon's Well. Bob saw it and said that it looked like that stolen car on GD. Glad they got it back. -
I am bringing the kids. that reference was to duniemonkie and the flying monkey races. I believe we are camping near the ranger station on the west side and a ways down from the 78 highway. I am meeting Barefoot Bob along the way and following him in. get with him for the info.

My kids are sore losers!! It looks like I am going to Glamis again after all... Definately going to Dumont for Presidents weekend though.
