Thanks!! I am pretty happy on how it turned out. It comes home tomorrow so I will take more detailed shots and try to get a video up too.
I will be taking it out to Ocotillo in a few weeks to break it in. Plus to see what rear springs to put on it. The ones on it now are just temps till I know what I want for a spring rate.
It should look hot with the hood on it, I still haven't seen that part.
here it is....
Just need the tail lights, dome lights and finish the trim on the race radio. I wish you could hear how it sounds. AWESOME!! not too loud but you know its a V8.
I saw it today, Floor is in. I am adding an air compessor under the rear seat. I really don't see it being ready by Friday but who knows?
I will take pics tomorrow. It is now sitting on my off-road tires and it looks pretty good!
I know!! wish I had more right now. all the panels are done and are at powder.
the thing that sucks about having a friend build your car is that you get put on the back burner at times. my car has sat idle for 2 weeks and I am not too happy but I am an understanding kind of guy when it comes to making $$$$.
Monday I will have a chat with him about getting it done.
We wanted to see KA but it is dark those nights. We have seen all the other Cirque shows, Blue Man, Carrot Top, Amazing Jonathan.....
I guess it is a bit pricy, but it is a mini vacation for us so I am open to spend a lil ca$h.
Me and the wife will be in Vegas July 1-3. I want to go see a show but the good ones are either dark those nights or we have seen them.
Bobby Slayton is a funny comedian and the tickets aren't that bad either. $36.95.
I was thinking maybe a few of you that might want to do this we could get a bunch of seats together and a good laugh and mabe a few after.
It is on a Sunday (July 1) but its at 8pm so not too late, I think it is a 80 min. show.
Plus my wife could meet a few of you as well.
I can't remember who sings this but I remember being totally :ahhhhh: from :ahhhhh: and siniging with my friends this one.... Bye bye Miss American pie, Drove the chevy to the levy but the levy was dry..
Good times there. Germany 89-91 Even got a piece of the wall too!
I want to make a few CD's that when you hear them it puts you in the mood to .
Lets start a list of specific songs not just the artist. Here are my first two that I have.
UB40- Rat in the kitchen
Common Sense- Never give up
looks like a good deal with those tires. They will be too much for your car I think but you can sell them easily and make back about half of what you have invested so far.
Have fun with the build.
