You beat me to it. If the laws in Nevada suck what would that say about California's!!! I had my intakes chromed on my last rail and they went into Mexico. The good thing is it is usually good work and done at a fair price.

When is SEMA? I will be in Vegas from July 1-3. Staying at the Venetian.

I mounted the tires onto the rims. Other than that the hardest work I did was write a really big check!! I built my yellow Chenowith that I just sold and built my first rail as well. Your right it is alot of fun and you take pride in what you have accomplished. I went the lazy route this time but I like the way its going.

There is a main breaker that should trip if something goes wrong. I am not sure what all the fuses go to as of right now, they aren't labeled yet. He has the master diagram and we will label them from that. But I will ask about that thanks.

Not alot of progress this week on the car.. I did manage to get my off-road tires and mount them. They came out pretty good I think Fronts 31x10.5x15 Rear 33x12.5x15

That trans should hold as long as you don't beat it up. No dropping the clutch for sure! I use to carry a spare tranny with me to the dunes all the time but my VW 2276 couldn't break it so I left it at home. Now I am doing the Mendiola thing and am paranoid about the reverse issue!!!!! -
Motor is in!!! I really like the jet coat black headers, everone has the silver so I wanted something different. Here is a somewhat better look at the wiring job. I will get the guys name. They are all mini buss fuses in a water tight box. Sorry the last pic is fuzzy but you get the point right? Its a real sanitary wiring job, wish I had that type of skill!

4 HID and 4 regular up front. Running lights in the rear. 2 whips. It should be enough huh?...lol

She gets 45 days in a jail where she will be kept in her own room. She has 1 hour a day to do what she needs to take care of. (ie cell phone calls!) But chances are she will spend only a few hours in jail due to overcrowding. Its sad that her "name" and "status" will get her out or might not serve time at all! If the average joe blow did the same thing I bet the sentence would have been longer and you would have to serve the ENTIRE time with BUBBA!

Thanks for all the nice words. I am extremely happy with the car and how it is looking at this point. It should be alot closer to completion in a few days once the wiring guy completes that in 2-3 days up at his house. That is all this guy does.

That is sooo true... I myself am in law enforcement and I have been provoked by people at the local 7/11 while trying to get a soda and get back on the road. I kept my cool and good thing too, inside their truck behind tinted glass I saw someone with a video camera filming it all. I politely asked them to get out of my way and on the way out I took down their liscence plate. They didn't like that too much. :chkn:

I have nothing but the utmost respect for anyone in the military these days! I joined back in 88 just to get the college $$$ and guaranteed home loans! Then Desert Storm begins just as I am getting ready to get out and I get involuntarily extended! thank god it was only for 2 weeks. All I can say is Good Luck if you go, stay down and don't try to be the Hero, anyone there already is!!

Got a few more parts back from powdercoat. Trailing arms Air scoop Light Bar Still hard to swallow a 7K transmission!!! And finally, got more parts put on as well!! Goes out to wiring on Fri or Sat!
