(They didn't last long )

Whachoo lookin' at Wingnut?!? Thanks for all the great pics y'all, and all the reading!! Feels like I was there without all the stress that goes into a BIG holiday weekend! Had something special up my sleeve this weekend, I'll show everyone tomorrow.....it was already dark when it arrived tonight.

And word of mouth is the BEST advertising!! I have no need to bless them with my presence ($$), howEVER, after reading this, I would never step foot in that establishment nor would I recommend it to anyone I know (and like!) Already had that mindset after hearing about them jacking people for an extra $5 per Dumont pass. Not good business sense.

I came home yesterday afternoon to a sweet little surprise sitting on the kitchen counter.....an edible bouquet!! Fruits: strawberries, grapes, apple and orange wedges, and pineapple slices cut in the shape of flowers dipped in chocolate and arranged just like a flower bouquet. Banana chunks dipped in white choc looked like marshmallows. Mmmmm, all yummy! Really cool considering my hubby is one of the least romantic people I know. I already had one of his favorite dinners planned since I didn't want to fight the crowds for a seat at a restaurant. Dinner out tonight instead, Draft House, deeeeelishes!!!

We made a bunch of copies, too. Is this year a free weekend again?? I thought the flyer should mention that there is no entrance fee for that weekend. Sent some out with the kiddos already and gonna take some to work, but really wanted to make sure about the no-charge detail first.

We loaned our hauler out once to some very dear friends of ours, who now live in Prescott, AZ. Davey towed it to the racetrack, unhooked, and towed it back home after the weekend was up. I had extreme reservations, but since they weren't going to be haulin' the hauler, WTF. Seemed fair, they let us use their Brianhead Condo rent free for the Thunder on the Mountain run, we just pay the cleaning fee. I figured they would stash some cash for use of the facilities, propane, water, etc., but no go. Left a BIG mess on the floor but had brought all their own supplies, including linens. :smoker: Sharnay had no clue how stocked my home away from home is. Sure was tempting to send them a bill for the cleaning fee.

Yeppers, gotta have that for a "dune" camera!! When we bought our newest camera at Circuit City, I asked the lady if it covered ANYthing that could possibly happen to it. We were honest about the sand details, so when she said yes, we said sign us up!! Enjoy your new toy Pete

Hmmmm, name looks familiar, but Remember PinzEOD?? He hasn't been around since May. Davey called him the other night to see if he was gonna make it out for this year's clean-up. (The kids were nagging him to call 'cause they had a blast in the pinzgauer last year.) He said he'd LOVE to as long as the tank doesn't sell by then.

Nah, think of it as just takin' a raincheck on the invite y'all had for the after MLK weekend weekend, but there was a certain wedding you had to be at. :jester: Weekend of March 15th. Spring vacation kicks off that Friday, SOOOOOOOOOOOO, if the weather is cool enough, we hope to make it a 4 or 5 day stretch. You guys are welcome to camp with us as long as you can stand it!! SO sorry Jodi, what was the original post?!? Oh yeah, LOVE your new dune equipment! Maybe Vic should look into gettin' one of those too.
