I pulled into the Firestone on Spring Mountain today and there was Dave's truck....NO doubt, it had CDAVEGO license plate and the DDR sticker in the back window, but no see Dave.

Here ya go Cole, I'll one-up-ya on the shimmy!!
-
I like this one 'cause of the beer gut showin'!
-
Seems to me, that second monkey showed up 'bout the time the little jester guy (whom I liked VERY much) disappeared!! I gotta cute monkey for ya Anna:

"I'd like the TRT to think about this and consider all the traffic, including ambulances with back injuries, etc. and advise us before we would take an action." WOW!! That's a HUGE issue to take into consideration. Thanks Vicki for posting that, guess it is time to second guess the speed bumps!
-
I'm with you on this one Pete! It would be nice to have a smoother ride in, BUT my biggest concern is the idiots out there that think it'll be a drag strip to race in and out of Dumont on!! Only time will tell.

Can't get away with that one anymore here in NV!! IF they still went by the bill-of-sale here, I'd be paying fees on the 33k we actually paid for our hauler instead of the 38500 MSRP. So we get hit with a double whammie....high fees based on a higher price than we paid!! :wedgie:

Weddings in April, BEST month of the year I'd say!! Mine and Davey's 14th wedding anniversary is on the 24th of this month.
-
Niiice, but you still need to squeeze in a DDR sticker too!!
-
GREAT choice there Jodi!! Like Pete said, that Kawi will get you ANYwhere in the sand you wanna go, AND you won't have to buy paddles to do it, unless you want to of course. It'll do great on trails too. I took my sister-in-law's rock climbing/trail riding in Marysvale, Utah with no problem what so ever!

Congratulations!!

It worked for me! Got only 4 out of 10 correct on the little quiz. :ahhhhh:
-
I was going to make that suggestion also!! (I mentioned it back in the thread where you told us he tried to wriggle out of the front seatbelt, before you installed the new seats.) Those harnesses are sized for an adult, not your little guy. Him properly strapped into a carseat properly installed in the Rhino should keep him secure and no need for the helmet. IF you did happen to roll it, he ain't goin' nowhere and I think the helmet could do more harm than good to his neck. Just remember the eye protection, please!

I'm just glad you didn't ruin your first trip out with the new toybox by looking up the $$$ it's going to take to register it!! It's a bill I dread (just like insurance) every year but DMV has us all by the......chingaderas!!
-
It has dropped a tiny bit each year (depreciation I assume), but we still pay up the ying yang! I'll fess up, this year it cost us $530.00, ours is an '05 BTW, which is more than my Burb or Davey's truck! The price of recreation!
-
The first time we registered ours it was over $700, based on the MSRP $38300, not what we actually paid for it!! Anyway, go to dmvnv.com and I do believe you can get an estimate on your registration fees. Save ya the fainting spell when you get to the counter at DMV.

I'm SOOOOOO glad you asked!! When you mentioned the opening in the Logandale day trip thread, I thought the same things......the holiday and Grand Prix could put a dent in the turn out. Personally, I hope you decide to postpone 'cause we'd really like to be there AND we'd really like to see ya out at Logandale this weekend. I bet you've covered more territory out there than we have and you could show us some new trails. :no_no: Hell, we could turn Saturday/night into a BIG party if some more 'peeps' wanted to head out there too!! Hint hint Jackie and Dave, Stacey, Tiffany, Craig, <<<<< It was his idea to do the day trip thingy anyway! Just my

That's what I was thinking!! A wee bit friendly with his quad, tho! Mr. Bachelor-of-the-Year Woody!

Warranty issues with 5th wheel company
dinicolady replied to CaptNkllm's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
No manufacturer is immuned to problems. All trailers/toyhaulers come complete with their "quirks". (I'm sure motorhomes do too.) A thorough pre-delivery inspection should rule out any major problems, but the little things will only crop up with use. Our toybox is a Tahoe by THOR, CA. We had an issue with the bathroom door not latching, Johnnie Walker's fixed it before we picked it up. They even installed a little flip-down table by the front door for me free of charge. THEN came the electric queen bunks, had it in twice for that problem. It only took a few days each time to get them fixed. The slide out had an issue once, also resolved quickly, and then came the separation problem 2 months out of warranty!! THOR authorized JW's to fix it and it didn't cost us a cent. It did take 4 days longer than estimated, but we had it back in time for New Year's weekend. Just got a recall notice in the mail today in regards to a furnace (ventilation) problem!! Comes with the territory when you buy a brand new model. Oh well. -
Dammit Ken, we'll be in Logandale that weekend! Instead of just a day trip, we decided to make a big weekend out of it since the kiddos are on Spring break this week. Sounds like it's gonna be a pretty good turn out and party! Sorry to miss out, but considering we live so close by, I'm sure we'll be paying you a visit sometime soon!!

My bro-in-law owns a 30' Rage'n also. They're a good toybox!! His is a 5th wheel, tho.
