I guess so!! That's what we were told by the medics. We had to wait for transportation.....they were backed up (holiday weekend ya know) transporting a broken femur to the ranger station. Judy rode in the same ambulance to Vegas with that guy!! But like you said, "scary" being transported on a stretcher strapped to the top of a rail!!

Justin, just a heads up on that orange rail. Remember when Judy flipped and dislocated her shoulder??<it was Tday weekend '06> It is not used for transport. They (along with a couple 911 quads) arrived on scene and had her strapped into that stretcher AWAITING transport via a p/u truck. IF I remember correctly, someone had mentioned that that rail couldn't make it up comp to do a rescue. Someone in a 4x4 (or maybe it was a different rail) helped transport that victim down. I do agree, however, that SOMEthing dunable should be available at all times!! The most logical staging area would be the hosts' camp. I truly hope all is well with the accident victims. Nothing like seeing that chopper to make your heart sink.

Of course, that was a GOOD thing, but SOOOOO hot and SOOOOO many prizes didn't mix well!! I remember him just tossing a bunch of stuff out to the crowd to help speed it along!!

Each person gets a raffle ticket when they sign up (along with a lunch ticket), then additional tickets are handed out for each trash bag turned in or unusual/large item brought in. You may put your tickets in the "can" for each item you wish to win. The generator tickets ynot mentioned are being sold to support FoDD. If I remember correctly, there's a ticket for the t-shirts too. We handed those out while the raffle was going on......and on......and......... special raffle prize

FYI: There's a "nasty" rumor circulating around about you............... ..............that in person you're a pretty cool guy!!

We'll be just across the way at about C or D 4/5. Our "neighborhood" is gonna have like 9 or 10 rigs, possibly 11 if indasand and family joins us, so probably taking up both squares on the map!! Anywhooo, wanna be closer to the festivities than our ususal D2. Heading out Friday, we're letting the kids play hooky from school. Gettin' excited!!

We took a detour on our way to Brianhead a couple of summers ago and drove thru Zion. Haven't camped there, but it IS beautiful!! I agree with Vic, ya gotta check out Bryce Canyon too! I'm always on the back of the motorcycle, so I get to oooohhhhh and ahhhhhhh at all the scenery. Amazing!! The pics of Zion are either on the other computer or on film, but here's a sneak peek of Bryce:

I did the run-along-holding-onto-the-bike thing, let go,,,,,,,,cheer and KA-BOOM, down he'd go. After about the 3rd or 4th time, I let go and kept my mouth shut and VOILA!! He rode for about 30 yards, saw I wasn't holding on, and KA-BOOM! Down he went. Good thing we were in the schoolyard and not on the pavement. Been on two wheels ever since. justin.bmp
