The Steering stops in the head tube one end is busted off so it needs to be filled in and ground down.. Someone didnt know how to measure correctly when they put the steering damper on and drilled extra set of holes thru the back bone.. and one of them is starting to stress crack. There were a few other spots that needed some attention as well.

Man this thing is a never ending story. After about 3 hours of work. I got some scrubbin to do Broken Radiator gaurd anyone.. Guess i get a new set of these too! Ready Filters not working so good!!! Time to go back to a traditional filter. Gotta love a beat down silencer! Bike was fat now running lean! Time to bump it back up to that 60 pilot and keep it fat all the way across.. It was weezing on me at the top of comp and whenever i was on it hard so im going to fatten it back up. My plans are to blast and fix any blemish's in the frame there are a couple.. Then paint it flat black.. I also ordered a new PC Platinum Pipe and New Turbine Core 2 Silencer as well.. So i can hopefully get that pull back on top and ill cure the missing bottom end with a little regear Probably run 15/51 or 14/49. Welp ill keep adding as i make progress. Time to get back to the garage and get that motor ripped out and forks taken off.. Want to thank Walt B370 and Kens Colors in advance.. You guys rock!!!

i havent tried the Oakley Sand goggles yet however my ProGrip's are working great so far this season.. no real complaints yet.. Every now and again ill get a little grain or too after a HUUUGGGEEEE sand blast from some other 2 wheelers but for the most part they work great.

ken... the guy i talked to today does glass and plastic media i didnt ask if he can soda blast.. however he said he is one of the best in town and has been around forever.. His name was Ron. 525-0540.. seemed reasonably priced and very knowledgable when i talked with him. Was only gonna charge me $50 as a estimate to get it done.. time frame depended on the media he was using that week.

heh.. i was told similar as well.. low and behold piston was cracked.. takes 20 min tops to pull the carb and reeds out and have a looksey.

The blast center yielded nothing.. however A strip center.. is probably who your thinking of... they are off highland in a industrial complex w/ exotic car body places.. so i assume its the right place.. quoted 50 bucks and depending on what week anywhere from 1 week to 1-2 day turn around depending on when i bring it in.

definatley sucks.. On the other hand you did get bfg's and they last a helluva lot longer than 20k miles so you shouldnt have to worry about these for quite a while..
