Pete do you have the information to mail our pass's direct to barstow, and do you know what forms of payment they will accept? I will not be able to make it to dumont before the deadline however i do want to upgrade my pass's for a non holiday season pass.. The only way i can see doing it now is via mail.

If the state and goverment didnt nix their grants and additional funds to the blm then the fees would have stayed the same. HOWEVER since they (BLM) are not getting any additional funding this needs to be made up somewhere else ie the pass's.. Its not because they are out to screw you its because they have no money to staff the place and keep dumont running the way people have expected it with sherrifs and ems crew and so on and so forth.. If you think the fee's are a crock write to the state and ask them why they didnt give blm any additional funds this year to help run the place... If they would have left the fee's the same then you would have seen a substantial decrees in law enforcement, ems crews, and possibly camp hosts to keep dumont clean.. then you would be bitching about that.. If the state grants additional funding next year the plan is to drop the fee's again but that is all dependendent on the state and goverment..

Riding Dirty.. I am pretty much a day tripper with my whacked a$$ work schedule.. im off fridays and saturdays and since everyone doesnt get there till friday and the real riding is saturday it kinda sucks.. HOWEVER 30 bucks for a non holiday weekend is the price to pay wether your there for a couple hours or all day or all week.. the money goes to keep dumont open adn keep blm and emergency crews staffed out there as well as many other things to make your dumont experience the greatest.. so yes pay the 30 bucks..

Hell i will even supply the gas as long as its getting used.. race gas does have a shelf life

It took me a few minutes to put 2+2 together.. I will be in tucson for the week and dont know if im coming home fri sat or sunday not sure yet... if we leave early and come back fri or saturday im going to try and day trip it on sunday.. If not you guys are more than welcome to my bike.. If justin breaks it ill just steal his.. LOL

Its bad when you go inside look for a cart and there are none so you have to go shag your own out of the parking lot... The managment got a earfull from me that day... This happened more than once.. that last time was the final draw for me. If we need groceries then i go to the walmart neigborhood stores the grocery store.. for other misc crap i get it elsewhere.. Their grocery stores are pretty nice and dont have wobbely carts
