i think im gonna swing by powerhouse this weekend and take advantage of their solvent tank and tools I need to dissasemble and re-asemble and clean everything out...

due to high amounts of traffic the site will be offline between the hours of 5pm and 9pm we will all be out drinking and members wanting to celebrate ddr's birthday are just sh*t outta luck.. LOL Just kidding.. somewhere around 6-8 i spose... i know as soon as 9 hits im going to the bar

woohoo.. did a compression test.. All is good.. so now its just a cleanup and retune the carb and im set.. WOOHOOO...

i got a carb that needs to come apart and get dipped and cleaned, and a handfull of other parts that will need a scrubbin..

now thaaats some funnny chit... Definate canidate for the best of thread section..

Thats fine and dandy but i dont want to pay 100+ Bucks for a part washer im only gonna use once or twice..

Anyone have a solvent tank i can borrow for a few weeks? And somewhere i can pick up 5 gallons of mineral spirits?

have you tried contacting the MFG and see if they can send you out another rom you can burn?

Twin Air carry's the Pro Flo Kit which is a new cage and foam filter that has the backfire foam built into the filter eliminating the stock screen... K&N also has a similar kit as well

Just short of 6' and im gonna order up a couple new plugs tomorrow when i get to work along with a few other things.. Cables (clutch and throttle) Air Filters Tranny fluid 2 stroke oil ( debating between yamalube or castor 927 ) Grips Throttle tube big bottle of Simple Green!! Watter Wetter New front brake line Ratio Rite w/ Lid Call Scotts and see if i can get a submount kit for the stabilizer 2 rear sprockets 1 countershaft sprocket The chains i got with it are decent but will probably order another one That should get me going on the road to a sweet success... and burn up my last paycheck from thumpertalk LOL.

got to give the bike a little lovin... alot of the maintenance stuff needs to be done to it and some cleaning... but i plan on a weekend to lancaster for a test and tune as i need to rejet it a little to get it to idle. other than that.. probably kick off weekend in the sand.. And i dont plan on selling it f***k that.. i have been waiting to long to have one of the ultimate dune mocheens. BTW Maxdout couldnt get it started.. I started it for him LOL

bert the newer bikes are the new gen 4 CRF250R and X Frames but they use just about all the diffrent frames if need be. The 125 was only used on the Limited edition Service honda bikes. They dont use the 450 frame much but have in the past.

Has stabilizer.. just needs to be rebuilt... it doesnt hold constant pressure all the way to the lock it quits about half way...

When i had to replace the carb on mine... i just went to the website grabbed their STOCK settings to get it to run... then fine tuned it from there... They arent that hard you just gotta know what to listen for. Your manufacturer should be able to tell you where to start and how to adjust it to get it close.

First off lets get the equiptment squared away. What kind of wireless router? What kind of Wirless card did you buy? If your router is only setup to broadcast G and you bought a B card then you have adjustments to make..
