If your new to glamis and you want to camp in the wash's get as close to the dunes as possible before your rig gets stuck... Listening to that damn train roll by every hour on the hour gets old fast

the week BETWEEN christmas and new years is usually AWESOME!! everyone is home for the holidays for xmas cept those diehards but they start pouring in for new years so you leave just before the new year and you have a enjoyable experience... I can do it on a tank as well however i usually fill up in blythe as its cheaper than the imperial valley most of the time Will be making that trek the weekend before the first.. Cibola Refuge here i come.

There are alot of good deals to be found on dodges... Just be forewarned it aint gonna ride like your burb.. so if your used to a cushy ride you wont have that anymore...

If you get a older ford stay 7.3 if you go with dodge cummins is the only way to go.. You might be able to find 02 03 duramax's in that range but be prepared for high mileage not that its a bad thing but alot of people wont finance high mileage vehichles regardless of the motor or truck.

My wife wanted one of those z's so i had to go test drive one for her.. 100mph down warm springs and the sales lady bout pissed herself Then the wife went on a test drive and the sales lady told my wife your husband sure knows how to drive.. LOL I wanted to drive the 5/6 speed cant remember which and the wife wanted to drive an auto.. Fast fun cars... just cant see myself in one.. i would end up wrapped around a telephone pole in no time with that much speed under me on the street. The wife bought a titan instead..

try chapman dodge on boulderhighway and sahara... They are a Dune Supporter as they were the big sponsor for last years cleanup.. Other than them i would have to say integrity out on the 215 and rainbow.. they have a huge lot and lots to choose from usually.

These damn oil companys litterally have you by the balls and have been doing it for years.. the best analogy i have heard yet.. You think gas in needles is bad.. Try Vidal Junction 95 south CA side bout 45min south of needles... THATS a bad place to need gas.

When the bike runs and im not waiting on broken parts... it never failed last year a trip was coming up something else went wrong.. i would finally make it out to go riding and Something else would break.. Last year was a crappy dune season for me.. i made a total of 4 trips to the sand all YEAR! 2 in glamis and 2 to dumont and 1 trip in the hard pack.. i didnt get to ride hardly at all thanks to things breaking. Im going to start ordering up a piston and ring kit and some new valves, stems seats and springs here in the next few weeks too as im getting some blowby now.. Its getting time to tear into the motor.. uggg
