you should be fine.. only thing in question is the river crossing depending on how much its flowing.. worst case scenario you park at the little dunes and ride to the big dunes if you cant get across the river

only thing you need to be real careful of are the shims.. Dont let them fall down into the valve.. Most of the time they stick to the cap and you just tap the cap on the table and they come right down but ocasionally they will stick on the valve and you will need to carefully grab it and not let it fall down in the hold there!

i have only ran across 1 chp and one sherrif in the same day. Just south of the twisties headed towards tecopa.. glad the twisties were there if not i woulda been in a world of hurt lol.. was doin 100+ in my car.. in a hurry to get to dumont

the wife used to get her birth control in mexicali. alot of the snowbirds get their meds down there as well.. same chit 1/2 the cost.
