my 426 was the same way.. change the oil and ride it.. 5 years of torture from me and it was still runnin just fine when i sold it.. All be it tired but still goin like a champ.. Ill get it fixed up soon. I have been wanting to split the cases on one of these motors for a while now... Now i have an excuse.

it will be back together before the season opener and the glamis trip i got planned.. i got 2 months.. I am going to get the cases split this week and all the parts ordered next week.. I just hope i dont open it up to find i need a whole bunch of crap.. I just hope its something simple and retarded like a bearing failing.. but judging by the size and shape of those flakes i fear its tran's issues.. Randizzle... The last season the bike has treated me well.. Aside from the new top end i had to put in it when i bought it.. the rest of the stuff i did was pretty much cosmetic aside from the misc bearings and stuff on the frame. $:dune trip:fun its been pretty cheap thus far.. I guess i cant complain too much having it last an entire season before i found this stuff i spose was a good thing.. Its just frustrating.

Ok well not really.. I love the power but this thing is KILLING me on repairs.. HOLY CRAP one thing after another. :gayboy: First i thought maybe my crank seals were leaking due to the strange jetting.. So first things first drain the gear oil.. Welp thats as far as i made it and i dont need to go any further until i get the motor out of the frame. :no_no: Shavings are a normal thing.. Small fine shavings from parts wear adn clutch's and what not, not a big deal. Well this time these were HUGE shavings not just little flakes i mean abnormally large flakes and alot of them.. WAAAY more than normal. So to be better safe than sorry im gonna tear the motor apart, split the cases and see wtf is goin on in there. While im in there it will get all new seals and bearings, and im going to have the jug done again with a fresh piston since this last one was questionable by the machinst. The piston to cylinderwall clearance was on the edge of beeing too much. One of these days i wont have to worry about this crap... One of these days i just hope it runs like petes yz250. Just hop on and go and not worry about anything..

A friend of mine has one of those fsc32 footers and the water lines in the wall going to the shower came apart somehow so whenever they would turn the pump on water would just pour out of the trailer between the shower and the wall.. nothing they could do about it and they were in glamis for a week.. happend the 2nd day there... the mobile warrior guy said we cant fix this one on site the whole shower has to come out your gonna have to take it to the dealer.. they werent thrilled to say the least... At least there was more than one hauler in camp that was cool and let them use the shower and stuff to do dishes..

there are much better vendors than calmini... Petroworks Trailtough LowRange Offroad Rock4xfab Personally Lowrange has just about everything from all the diffrent suzuki vendors and is where i would go.. between lowrange and trailtough those would be my 2 choices.. The Empi kit is a good kit but there are better alternatives. http://bbs.zuwharrie.com Sign up and READ till your heart is content.. thats where i find damn near everything i will ever need to work on the sammy as well as another outstanding community of people.

the 1.3's used traditional carbs nothing special besides the electric choke which is common on alot of carbs.. still got the usual crap.. not that hard to work on.
-
throw a killer side draft weber on that sammy and call it done

im waiting for some adapters to mate the toyota cv style drive shaft to the samurai drive shaft flanges... I hope that they will be done in time if not its just gonna stay parked in the garage.. I gotta pull the flywheel off the 2 wheeler and pull the clutch out and check the crank seals and make sure they arent leaking.. if they are i need to replace em.. hopefully ill get that done this week and get some tuning done as well as putting a new rad cap on to hopefully cure my overheating issue.. but if i dont get any of that chit done.. im throwin a cooler full of beer in the altima and heading to banshee..

im coming wether or not im riding or draggin the samurai.. I am going to hang out and get trashed
