I was thinking it would be cool to have a DDR get together just before the season officially opens on Halloween. My reasons behind doing it on Columbus Day weekend are: 1. It's a 3 day weekend for some people. 2. It's a full moon weekend. 3. It should be far enough away from Halloween so if anything breaks you will have enough time for repairs. 4. I'm announcing it now to give people enough time to make arrangements. 5. The weather SHOULD be cool enough by then. 6. I NEED A DUNE FIX! Does anyone else have any ideas? Who's gonna be there?

You should file a police report and have the guy arrested for assault and wreckless driving. Or better yet when you find out where he lives send over the Axehandle Collection Agency to collect for mental anguish. I also ride and feel your frustration daily.

Stator or alternator they work somewhat the same way. If the stator is grounded it will have to be replaced. The stator on my street bike went bad and grounded out. I had the same symptoms you are describing.

Sobe bombs work better with 87 octane because it burns faster.

It sounds like you have a problem in the charging system. If an alternator goes to ground it will drain the battery and blow fuses. If it's still under warranty TAKE IT BACK TO A DEALER. You can't install a stereo without fixing the problem. If you do you'll just cause more problems.
