What do you think you're getting for Christmas?
sand chick replied to Kitcat's topic in General Chat
This is all I am getting! :xmas_grinch: I have been too bad for anything else! What I would LIKE would be: Peace on earth and everyone to be happy....................but since THAT will never happen............ My second choice would have to be: Set of paddles and rims for my TRX450r, since all I have are dirt tires and an even BETTER camera!! (so who didn't see THAT one coming?) :xmas4: :xmas4: :xmas4: -
OHHH what a cutie!! Congratulations!!

Most balls on sale today have about 300 to 450 dimples. There were a few balls having over 500 dimples before. The record holder was a ball with 1,070 dimples -- 414 larger ones (in four different sizes) and 656 pinhead-sized ones. All brands of balls, except one, have even-numbered dimples. The only odd-numbered ball on market is a ball with 333 dimples. Officially sanctioned balls are designed to be as symmetrical as possible. There was a ball that had six rows of normal dimples on its equator, and very shallow dimples elsewhere. This asymmetrical design helps the ball self-adjust its spin-axis during the flight. The USGA did not sanction it and changed the rules to ban aerodynamic asymmetrical balls. The ball supplier sued the USGA and the USGA paid U.S. $1.375 million in an out of court settlement.

AWWW COME ONNNN!!!!!! Whats wrong with a little holiday mush?? Isn't that part of the holidays?? :xmas_grinch: :xmas_grinch: :xmas3: Now how about some more traditions?
-
It's not just movies, but that seems to be a big part of the holiday traditions. wa.statecrew and I also used to make a gingerbread house from scratch every year! I think that there was only one year we actually completed one though :xmas3:

Ok Ok I know I have been a little Grinchy this year :xmas_grinch: But we did a Toys for Tots motorcycle poker run on Sat. and for me theres nothing like a little giving to put me in the Christmas mood!! :xmas4: :xmas3: :xmas4: So we were talking about Christmas traditions, everyones got them, lets hear them!! And how long have you been doing them! For me its not Christmas until.......... I watch "Its a Wonderful Life" usually I watch it on Christmas Eve. I have been doing this for about 20 years. And if I have a Christmas tree, I have a "Chrismouse" a little mouse that has been in my family since before I was born and he HAS to go on the tree before anything else! I have been doing that all my life. I think the Toys for Tots drive will be my new tradition! So for you Its not Christmas until......................???

Machine gun artillary came in a string measuring 27 feet. So when you ran the whole string through the gun, you were using the 'whole 9 yards'

:beer_bang: I am McLovin' :jester: That had to have been the funniest movie I have seen in a while. Michael (wa.statecrew) and I saw that in the theater. I was thinking as we were buying our tickets.............I am seeing this because the kid wants to, oh well just another dumb movie. I found myself laughing so hard, yep buying that one for the collection! I think I might like to see Beowulf, but only in the Imax!!

Send him to live with his twin for the next 6 months! No seriously when Michael was doing this same crap as it seems most teenage boys do these days, I took the door off of his bed room so he had no privacy, I gave him one full day to clean up his crap or I was going in with a trash bag and throwing everything away that was not picked up and evertime I found something on the floor after that I told him I would warn him once and throw it away as well! HA HA!! He thought I was bluffing!!!! Needless to say he was dumpster diving for his crap later that night and it worked for a while, but on occassion I still had to throw something away. Follow through! Follow through! Follow through! If you say your going to do it DO IT!
