Yep thats what happened to us in the first night ride this year. Our camera then was over 5 years old, so it was only a matter of time. I love the new one, took a while to get used to, but the features it offers are awesome!! Check it out: Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7

Those are actually some decent pics for a camera phone. Get out there and get some real ones with a real camera though. Reminds me of last years Yucca Valley/Big Bear/Pioneer Town fire. That got a little too close for me! We were packed and ready to leave. I hope they get it out soon!!

Do You Honestly Clean-Up after your pet at the Dunes?

We take both our dogs with us. And YES I clean up after them EVERYTIME!! The older one won't even poop in camp. There's nothing worse then running over poop with your quad!! Especially if its fresh!! I bring a bag with me.
