I am selling my Peter Lik photograph. Its one of his rare black and whites, its a dune shot of course. Called "Breathless" I have certificate of authenticity, its a 100 cm (39 in x 26 in) Recessed mount, which means no frame, you get the full benifit of the shot. Signed and numbered 731/950. $1000. It retails for a little more then twice that Still wrapped up like you bought it from the gallery. . I have quad parts to buy. Shoot me a message if your interested, or call me 702-250-8477

I have been wanting one for a long long time. Best birthday present yet, except for my steering stablizer last year. We were talking turkey last night. So thats worth it. Do you inject it or dry rub it? Kristin, the dry rub I used this time was: (guessing on the measurements, I don't really measure) 1 tbsp black pepper 2 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tbsp garlic 1 tblsp chipotle pepper 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp habanero powder 1/2 cup of brown sugar If it was just going to be me and Mike I would have added 1/4 tsp of ghost pepper powder, but we like the extra kick. I used mesquite chips, so I didn't add my smokey mesquite seasoning on top of that.

Hmmm... I bet Cherry Cola on ribs would be good as well. Jack or Jim in the water.. another thing I will have to try. I think I did pretty good, I had some taste testing guinea pigs over, and everyone who ate it thought it was delish. I tried a slow and low.. planning 4 hours, but screwed up and let the coals get too low with two hours to go, both meats were stuck at 150 and it took me forever, ok it felt like forever, to get it going again. And my last hour I had to get it up from 150 to 170. So lesson learned for me, make sure to add a coal or two when adding chips.

I just got a smoker, been wanting one of these for years! I know there's alot of you guys out there who have mastered the art of meat smoking. Any tips you can offer up would be awesome! I have some really good rubs, that I already use for bbqing, but I am always up for suggestions. I cured her last night according to the instructions, but after that I think I would rather get tips from others on what works or doesn't work, rather then some manual. I have a small 3lb pork butt and a 3.5 tri tip to practice on today.

So far a few shows, Authority Zero, TSOL and looking forward to Coyote Country Fest with Dirks in August. A day at the river. We have 4 birthdays in July and August. Good lord my kids turning 21 this year Our trip to Coral for the Fourth broke up the summer slump. Nothing planned for the rest of the summer, but we are spur of the moment kind of people, so who knows what will happen.

Yeah it would have been great to get some rides in with you guy.Mike' littlest would have had some friends his age to play with too! We always stay in the meadows, not too fond of being told when we can do stuff on our vacations. ! No riding before 9am.. ptttt... thats when the best rides are.. first thing in the morning. Where are the dino tracks you can ride to? Thats all new to me.. Mike's little one would love that.

I have friends that go in the winter to ride in the snow! It gets super cold in the winter. We've gone in August before, just like anyplace, it's hit or miss on the weather, but definitely cooler there then here.

Thanks. And I love riding in the wet sand up there.

Holy crap what a GREAT relaxing fun weekend!! Started sucky with yet another Mike and Jodi tire blow out! This time I was driving, the girls were driving while the boys rode shotgun! We are guessing that the fender came off and shredded the tire. But I made it all safe and sound to the side of the road. Of course just before that happened, both us and our traveling partners almost took out some Model T that was cruising about 30 on the freeway! Mike tied up the trailer and we limped it to the next exit 1/4 mile to Littlefield, he dropped the trailer and me off and headed back to Mesquite to get a replacement. Cane bed road is worse then ever and the paved road is horrible as well and has the "pit of doom" pothole so big it spans almost the whole road, no way to avoid it. Empty meadows! Finally made it to camp and the antics begin! Sooo many great laughs! Good riding! Got buzzed by a helicopter, flying super low just over the tree line, then they followed the trail up into the trees. Thought it was life flight, but the rangers said no, must have been a private heli. Went up to the "phone zone" to make a call to check on pups and I guess the cell phone confused a bat or something, cause it hit me dead on in the face! Apparently the "Dumont kids ATV course" is only good at Dumont! They require a complete different one at Coral, welllll and Justin was supposed to be 8. I thought it was 7.. BUSTED! But really cool about it. Not one quiet night around the campfire.. Cannot thank everyone on the trip enough for the great time! A few pics from the weekend.... Sooo much fun... Until... BUSTED!!! actually he didn't care, the ranger came by later. Buzzed by the helicopter Here comes the rain

Nothing like having comp hill all to yourself -
NICE!!!!! I started a 64.5 Mustang restore once. It was supposed to be my learning project. I had so much fun while I was learning how to sand and pull stuff apart, put it together, I wish it would have been finished, especially after seeing how gorgeous yours is!

Mike got his Dad's day early this year. With a trip to the river, dinner at Juicey's GREAT grub! Getting lost, taking my truck for its first off roading experience  through someones farm! And then onto the BMX Slam JAm King of Dirt BMX Jump Challenge Those kids can do some pretty awesome flips with those bikes! And playing at the contest, Pour Habit, Vodoo Glow Skulls, and Authority Zero. Mike's littlest one has graduated from cutting a rug to Social D to trying to get in the pit to Vodoo Glow Skulls I was sooooo wishing we would have rememebered the good camera... but I got some ok shots with the little one. All and all it was a great day! I hope everyone else has as great a Father's Day today!
