  1. Ok! Ok! Finally got around to going through them.. Ava's first trip to Coral Pink! Around camp... Empty Meadows! Rides, jumps and scenery.. Coyote tracks! There were no other tracks other then ours. More tomorrow...
  2. I like the Jewels game app for when you are bored waiting for someone, or something and have some time to kill. I like the Slacker radio app better then the Pandora. Slacker caches your stations so you don't lose it with the signal, like Pandora when it cuts in and out all the time. Calorie Counter (not that you need that one Pete ) Broncos News (if your a football fan, I think every team has a news channel) TiKL - Touch to Talk: Turns your phone into a walkie talkie to others who have the 3G phones
  3. Got in late last night from a nice trip to Coral Pink! It was a good weekend in the gorgeous pink sand!! Kid free and dog free! Missed Steve and Jill and Charlie! Coral is just not the same without you guys! Good laughs around the campfire Friday night. I spend too much time in the sun on Friday, and wasn't feeling too good Sat, only went on one ride and went to bed early, felt much better on Sunday! The meadows was almost a ghost town! Just one ring of camps along the fence line! The wind kicked up a bit on Sunday afternoon, nothing unbearable, but annoying enough to leave camp for a ride! Stayed in the trees for the most part. Dunes were still fun and had a couple of good launching spots. I stayed behind and watch Ava when they hit up the pictograph trail so that Jules could have a ride in the Rzr One way trail was bad azz as always! I personally only had one incident, where some idiots were parked in the middle of a trail, at the top of a hill, on a blind corner. Had to stop to avoid hitting them. Which is no good on a hill, popped into neutral trying to coast down as far as I could, still ended up buried and stuck, the couple just sat there, looking and watching me unbury myself! No offer of help. I guess I must be nicer then most, cause I would have offered to help out, especially if I was the sitting in the middle of the trail and the person stuck was trying to avoid hitting me! Oh well.. got myself out and continued with my weekend! Left early Monday morning, Mike didn't like the looks of the rear passenger tire. Good thing he is so smart and has mad blow out skills! And thank you to Jill and Charlie for happening to come by and then turn around to help! And Andrew and Juddi for seeing the hauler at the tire store and chillin with us and then following us home! Good people all around right there!
  4. That is correct! :mischevious: I had that set as well, its time for a new one though, I only have the skewers left! Steve if you find one in town, let me know! I need to get another one myself.

  8. What a horrible expirience for you to have gone through. Just makes you realize how quickly things can go bad. Never take a moment of this life for granted. My thoughts go out to all those whose loved ones were involved.
  9. Don't shoot me!! I am only the lowly reporter on this one!
  10. Apparently while enjoying the peace and quiet of a weekend away from home, The Peeps had too much to drink playing beer pong and :cheesebong: around the campfire.. R.I.P Peeps.. 11. I thought I would share.. What: Free Bowling Day! When: Saturday, August 7, 2010 Join millions of Americans as they enjoy some fun, games, parties, competition and participate in setting a New World Record. On August 7th, participating bowling centers will offer one free game to anyone who prints the GoBowling.com coupon. GoBowling.com Their website lists 9 participating bowling centers in Las Vegas, but I'd call to verify just to be sure. Not sure about any other areas. I suspect you'll have to rent shoes, so check the prices on that if you're looking for a large-family-friendly bargain. 17. Not that this has a damn thing to do with the dunes in any way, but I thought I would share any way.. if I can't go riding, my second favorite thing to do is get out and go hiking. I had a chance to get out Sunday morning and do some hiking in Red Rock, the desert is in full bloom right now, I just thought I would share some pics that I took of the desert blooms.
