Good relaxing trip! Had the whole family together, that was nice. Rode hard all day Sat. I think I covered all of the East side of Dumont. Last run of Sat was my first fourth gear pinned the whole run! Definately gets the blood flowing! Mike's famous last words, "We are just going on a cruiser" Got in a couple of good runs just me and my kid! Got to meet some new peeps at the Meet N Greet, Hello to Special K nice guy, chatted withhim for awhile Looked for Jr and Jorge everytime I went out.. no bueno, wanted to run with you guys! Also looked for Skinner and Ninjagreengirl missed you guys too wanted to go on a girl run with Julie Had a relaxing and fun time in camp as usual, got a chance to see some of the usual suspects visiting through. MISSED YOU JILL AND CHARLIE!!! Caught some kind of bug and spent all day Sunday That sucked, I couldn't even ride on the last day Other then that.. it was a good weekend, good friends, good food, whole family, relaxing weekend! Pics later tonight... Thoughts go out to Chris and family

I know Smokin Al's will be there! He is making a special dinner for Mike's birthday on Weds night! He ROCKS!!

Ya could have turned OFF the sound!! :argue: Thats what I did! Like I said don't care for him or the music, but the production part was cool! Yeah I think Pismo would have been closer for them to kick sand around in, still fun to watch the actual event and then see it in finished form! The little bit that we got to hear, I originally thought it was one of those Jeasus Freak Gospel guys Then I got some schooling by the kid!

Thats why I dropped out of almost every run on Poker Run weekend! I don't like to be front of the cars AT ALL!! NO BUENO!!!! One run we joined up on I turned around and Mike was right on my and my first thought was I had I pissed him off in any way... cause this could get ugly in a hurry :mischevious: My next thought was get the H L outa his way!!!!!!!

Dumont Dune Riders giving back to the community...

I dropped off the food donations today! What a fun time that was! They were very appreciative of our efforts, especially being last minute! Hopefully next year we can double the what we brought in! It ended up being 170 canned goods, 2 cell phones, and 1 box of baby wipes! Once again thank you all for your donations!!! They even allowed me to take some pics, there are NO PHOTOS allowed on site! And they are going to put us and the pics in their newsletter! I am not part of the church, but what an awesome portrayal of off roaders giving back to the community!

Its so easy to use even I can do it at home without help! I wouldn't try that with a deep fryer We got ours last year at Sam's! We put anihiem and jalepeno peppers inside the turkey and pinned the hole to keep it closed... you can also inject it like raspadoo suggested... the one thing we forgot the first time around was to put it in tinfoil and wrap it with a towel for half an hour after taking it out! someone was excited to try the turkey! and forgot to read the instruction booklet! And you can cook massive roasts in it, and veggies, and I still want to get the clam basket attachment and do a New England clam bake for one of the trips!

Holy crap Chris!! We wondered why you didn't stop by camp! Glad you and everyone are ok!!!

Out on some runs... man some of those lines were looooooooong like a dachsund! alot of people out doing what they love to do! :ahhhhh: WHOOPS!!!! Thanks guys for helping me out, first trying to pop it back on with the kit and then going back for the air tank and returning with paddles instead and then switchin out the paddles in the middle of the dunes!! These are the kind of friends and people that are great to have around! I don't think I ever thanked you guys Pete, Jack, Mike, and Steve for taking time out of your dune run to save mine!! :ahhhhh: A tiny bit of camp fun... Our fire sculpture.. A little Sandblast Steve, Justin and Jack were die hards when the wind picked up Sat night.. they stayed by the fire until there was no wood left to burn.... then it was time to head in for pizzazz food and laughes in the hauler!

Food boxes at the end of the day.... Thanks Skyz for the boxes! They came in handy! Missed you out there though Peeps filtering back in... It was a tie for who brought in the most items, so I had to tell both parties they could go get more if they wanted and I left it at that... both did! Conratulations on winning the new helmet Justin and Julie, aka: Skinner and Ninjagreengirl! They brought in 30 items and Jill and Charlie brought in 28!! THANK YOU!!!! To all who brought in even one can, box or container of food and a few non food items! All together there were over 150 items donated!! We actually just got in so, pretty well pooped out! Only went on one ride yesturday, but it was a great ride, lost the group coming back, started to go over a tall razor and got blinded by the sun and a gust of wind kicked my contact off kilter.... so I didn't want to go over it blind, dropped out and caught up on the tail end of another little group. Didn't have a clue who they were, but they had a good line going, turned out to be the peeps Ynot was camping with! Today, just wasn't feeling it... busted the bead on my tire, almost took a tumble down a pretty big hill, changed the tires out ( THANKS Justin and Julie for the borrow!), wasn't used to those paddles and back end was a little too squirrely for me, so I had to take it down a little, then lauched over a nice ten foot drop, then we stop for a photo shoot and I lost my contact to the sand gods... :headspin: I thought ok ok I get it I am done... I said see ya and headed to the flats and met up with everyone back at comp! Still a GREAT day, but just wasn't my day for riding. Kicked it at camp the rest of the day, slowly packing up. It was just a great, peaceful weekend! Hanging out with some pretty darn cool peeps!! Sat nights, Sandblast on the side of the hauler was awesome!! HEY! Joe was that your car?? Rewind.... YEP!!! Great meeting Skinner and Ninjagreengirl and Urkel and family!! :headspin: Thanks for helping out at the registration booth Julie!
