  1. BADDA$$ PIC! :kissass: Heck YEAH! Got to use ALLLLL that daylight!! Awesome weekend! Just awesome! Thanks to all who led rides and offered up help and advice and thanks to everyone for being paitent with my 3,000 and 1 questions about how to ride a little better! You guys all rock! :kissass: Is it Poker Run time yet?? :kissass:
  2. Nice pics everyone... Some crappy pics compared to everyone else's..... :kissass: but again.. I can drop my camera in the sand... :kissass: In the dunes... The Prez.. being just that.. Misc.... Meet N Greet pics to follow...
  3. I found a cell phone on the finger dune by BR#6 Friday morning. It was right on top of the sand so it must have been lost that morning or Thurs evening. Looks like it may have been run over once, part of the antenna is missing, other then that it seems to be in great shape, it was open when I found it, so the battery was dead. If you lost a cell phone PM me to see if its yours!
  4. I wondered who was following us around. Kept asking who it was and no one knew! You should have come over and introduced yourself!
  5. Yes it was yet another awesome weekend out at Dumont!!! :angry2: I don't think I can find anything to even think about complaining about, personally anyway! Camp was awesome! Dunes were great, not too tore up as long as you stayed in a groove! Definately good lines! New tires rocked! I thought I would take it easy my first trip out in them, but noooo, first thing Friday morning, I jumped in a line behind Vegas Style, with Pete leading a nice line of buggies, Ynot, OGP, Mike, Donnkey, and Randog's group. I kept up with them! That was my best riding yet!! I hope Mike got tons of good video of that ride! Went on another one later with, I think Lou leading, to the back side (west) of comp, in the big dunes where I don't like it very much, but I still kept up with them and even popped over the top of comp went down :hatdance: screaming all the way! Spent Sat leading Dune Smurf around on some girl rides, that was fun, leading! This morning had a nice bumper to bumper 3rd sometimes 4th gear run, I ate alot of sand, but was paying attention to what the guys were doing, turning and such, while I was getting used to the rear end slide that comes with the tires! I also was having way to much fun to take alot of pics, but I will get some up tomorrow after the computer gets in from the hauler and Mike's video gets put together! And Smoking Al's lived up to everyones bragging! the BEST ribs I have ever had! It was my first time even eatting at venders row! Next time I am trying the pork burrito!! Mmmmm....mmmm
  6. New tires made a HUGE difference!!!!!!! First time out on the new tire set up... I think I'll take it easy... but NOOOOOOO... I had to jump in behind Vegas Style at the tail end of a Dunefreak, Ynot, OGP, Mike and Randog's group.. Crusty, Donnkey, etc. And I kept right up with them!!!! :angry2: Soooo much easier to turn and manuver through the dunes with the tire set up. I had forgetten that Mike did the rejet on the carb as well, so when I first started going up and over Banshee I gunned it and rode a nice not expected wheelie for a little ways! scared me, but I kept on going! Now to get used to using that rear end slide!
  7. For FREE it was an awesome deal!! Thanks again Charlie and Mike!! Yes Dunlop dirts in the front and Dune Shredders in the rear. I noticed a big difference the last time Mike and I went out and I was able to keep up with the boys in the rails going in third and fourth gear runs... until I had to turn... and it just won't turn, the fronts dug in and the back slid around with me throwing my wieght over pretty hard.. but the fronts just dug in, and I would start to tip instead of turn. So the boys started to pull away from me every turn, cause I would have to slow it down way down to turn without tipping. Yes, last year at this time I would maybe get it out of second gear on occasion, you know like the flats I wanted to ride, I just didn't have anyone to show me how to do it, and what I was doing wrong, I would spend my time getting stuck, I would drop down side hills cause I would freak out everytime the rear started to slide, I would go around razors, cause I was afraid to go over them, I would wait for people to go on kiddie rides cause then I knew I could keep up without holding everyone back. Then I had someone show me what I was doing wrong, such as leaning into the hill and how to roll razors (the biggest thing) that I needed to get my a$$ off of the seat, how to shift my weight around. The razors, I just found small ones and practiced and practiced and practiced just like one of the kids.. back and forth one the finger dune...Easter weekend, after Fridays wind, we got up early as usual 7ish and hit the dunes, just Cory, Mike (in the rail) and myself (it was still the BEST run ever)and when we went out in June were the best razor rolling practice times.... practice... practice... practice... Now I am really looking forward to trying out the new tires... Mike also did something to my air filter as well. And tried something with my stock exhaust, but he said whatever he did to the exhaust made it run like :poop: so I think I will start saving for a new exhaust... hmmmmm.... Dad: What do you want for Christmas this year? Me: A new exhaust for my quad!!
