Well lets see.. I know for most of you your Dumont season has come to a close.. Some of us still have Easter on the books, but I thought I would throw out the recap.. Favorite memories and pics of your Dumont 2008/2009 season.. My most memorable trip had to have been Thanksgiving because my son, Michael aka: Wa.statecrew was here for the 6 days we spent out at Dumont!! We had a blast hanging out and being silly.. It was fun to watch him out riding in the dunes again.. I miss that kid!! Even though the weather was iffy on Halloween.. it made for some spectacular rainbow shots.. But most of all, the season for me was spent putting in a great deal of time on my quad!! Really getting in and learning the ropes of how to manuver through the dunes.. rolling the razors.. shifting. and even a little bit of jumping.. I gained alot of confidence this season and was even able to get into some 4th gear runs! I got to follow and learn from some really great riders.. And I just wanted to thank everyone for making this season a spectacular one! I am thankful and greatful for being able to make it out as much as I did this season.. Thank you for that Mike! Hopefully I will see more of everyone next season... or even during the off season!! Until then..... MAY YOUR SAND ALWAYS BE SMOOTH!!!!!!

My friend sent me a really good link today when I asked him where he gets all of his information.. Local Las Vegas Hiking I would be down for a group hot springs hike!

I started hiking the areas around here almost the first day I arrived in town!! Besides RedRock...my other fav is Valley of Fire! I keep trying to find someone to show me around Mt Charelston hiking areas.... but yeah no one seems to want to go!! Amanda and I were talking about wanting to do the hot springs trail this weekend...but I haven't looked into that thread I started Off the Strip.. some one had put a detailed post up on it!! I am always up for a hike, any weekend, I have the same problem.. finding peeps who wanna get up and do it!! My friend Mikey aka: KrayzeeMike he is always sending me pics from all over the place..last night it was some dry lake bed that he came across 15 miles north of Apex.. he has one of those on/off road motorcylces!!

Ok but I am still just an innocent bystander.... I don't want to steal someone elses thunda but since they won't fess up and the picture has been blocked out to protect them.. I will take the fall...

That wasn't ME! I was busy handing out prizes to people winning the raffle!! That would be why I was confused about ice cream!! I have been a good girl this season! Been too busy actually riding my quad this year and focused on that..I think I was in bed almost every night by 11:00pm as well, I guess I am just getting

Last year we went out, just about the same time to take the pup, Sierra, back to Bob (met him Sat morn in Baker) and we actually had to turn the heat on in the hauler Sat night, cause it was cold at night. Ahhhh... weather... you just never know!! One year it pours rain on cleanup weekend... the next year it 109!! Still going.... wind, rain, heat, snow... I will be in sand playing on Easter!!

Funny aren't they!!!! Good times for sure!! That was a GREAT night! Alot of laughs! I have a picture that Mike took of me falling out of the chair laughing so hard that night!

Not me.... It is going to be WAYYYYYYYY toooooo hot at Dumont for Easter.... evryone one needs to go to Pismo or Oregon Dunes, or Little Sahara, or or or I wanna see some smoooooooth sand all weekend! Last years turn out was pretty scarce but it was earlier and the weekend before clean up...but... WTFC
