You need to find somebody to carpool with up to DS Days there Mr. Cheese! I'd love to make the meeting and do the X afterwards but it's on an effin' Tuesday. I'm off every Friday and would go if it were on any of my three off days each week... Really, you should consider some way to make it up to St. A's mang.

Hot is what our boys in Iraq in full combat gear and strapped inside of a tank are. This is just a minor inconvenience for us. HOT is what I'll be under the collar when Borat Osama is elected...

4th of July Death @ Dumont

This gets updated frequently and has quite a few OHV reports. Seems to be mostly El Mirage and Johnson Valley/Stoddard Wells but Dumont hits it a few times a year, and of course the lake and the river. Be safe ya'll. Posted this under the Fourth of July thread under Happenings Cheese. Guess some have missed it so I'll do it up over here too. Sobering reading... -

Happy Birthday Prez. Here's to many many more.

Damn Pete turn that thing down! That's one bright azz paint job, maybe some pink and purple Poison sticker would round it out nicely. Messin' with ya bro. Glad she ran good for you. Good to hear everyone had a fun and safe trip. I was going to try and make it but with diesel $$$ for a half day ride I just couldn't swing it. Waiting for that freak storm to roll through on a weekend and bring some 80-90 degree temps with it then I'll be out there. Nice pics everyone, looks like walls on the backside of each razor, had to be interesting...

Well, my friends do call me slick Vic with the big... ...IMAGINATION! All these damn gutter minds around here. :chug: :black:

Duncan Hunter would have unf ucked this mess that we're in but the Dems want a rockstar personality and the Republicans want the same old same old. Neither party can seem to get thier heads out of thier azzes and do the will of the people. Guess out of the names that will actually be on the ballot come November I will have to go with Ron Paul. If it looks like McCain will need votes to beat Borat Osama then I may do that, but while cringing...

You got that right! Following Pete and trying to sling my 500lb Sand Pig around is quite the feat. Good times for sure though. Been on some hella rides but some of the DDR ones are the most intense and insane ever. NOT for the meek.
-
Very nasty wreck. Not much run out at the end of that track. Looked like the car launched 20-30 feet straight up after hitting the retaining wall. Most NHRA tracks have several hundred yards of sand trap, much shorter at this one. May a higher being be with his family through this time.

WOW! Talk about digging deep for some entertainment... Fun old times for sure and looking forward to it again this year Cheese. I'll hook up with you guys for the October weekend too, although I'll be just getting back from DS Days at St. Anthonys a couple of weeks prior. You should try a DS Days trip on for size, hella cool peeps and some of the best group rides imaginable. But nothing like the ones that our good friend the Prez takes us on! You da man Pete!

Must Have TV for me in order is NASCAR, the O'Rielly Factor, Glen Beck, college basketball, college football, then House. Can do without anything else although I'll sit and chat with my boys while they're doing History, Military, National Geographic, and some of the real life stuff that they watch. Most television is just mind numbing and I don't get it. Cannot stand any of the professional stick and ball sports, what has happened to our standards and morals in this country??? I could actually live without television but then I would just have to be a NASCAR gypsy and follow the caravan around the nation. Must be nice for the folks who are retired and can afford to do that.

Question about Stars and Bars flying around the dunes

I'm glad I read all the way through here Whiz, I was thinking holy Jesus this guy is from Georgia and had the gall to call it a Rebel flag!?! I see you got down to the nitty gritty and got the Confederate Battle Flag parts all correct. It's been said, mainly by BFB, but there are a lot of Southerners who have migrated out this way. I don't fly the CBF on my bikes, I wear the pride in my heart. Whipping in the wind I have the Marine colors, a POW/MIA flag, and a Razorback flag. Have a Razorback tat on my right shoulder. But I'm all Dixie in the heart and soul. Alot of us came out this way via the Military and like myself, got weened off of them damn ticks, mosquitos, humidity, chiggers, and some things that rhyme with them! Just have to change your hobbies. Shipped out here from Quantico myself and have never looked back, 15 years ago. My heart's in Arkansas and the South but my comfort level is right here in 29 Palms. I'll take 110 degrees out here over any 80 degree day back home. Back on topic, I think most people fly the CBF out here to balance out the eye pollution from all of the Messican flags. Not quite so bad at the D but down at Mother G 7 out of every 10 flags are Messican. Insane... Welcome, by the way. -
Ya'll ain't right....

If I owned a Rhino I would be hauling farm animal zhiat around the farm, which is what they are for. Haven't heard of many farmers suing Yamaha. Hmmmm...
-
Can't do it, got some big races going on at the Mother G that weekend. Race 4 of the 4SCS for anyone interested. See ya'll there.
-
That pic is a little early, still his cart. midget, and dirt days. When he moved to NASCAR he looked just like homeboy.
-
Does this freakshow remind anybody else of Jeff Gordon? Exactly what he looked like when he made the move to the big show.

JOOSE flavored malt beverage! Now what the hay does JOOSE taste like? And I didn't know they made pudding from Yorkshire's, doesn't seem like a fluffy little yelping turd eater would make a good pudding...

Insane balance and dexterity. I can't think of any terrain that that thing cannot navigate.

You guys are behind the times. I was listening to Mark and Brian Friday morning and they said because of leap year that we have to "set ours clocks BACK an hour and 20 minutes" to keep things in order. Said it only happens once every four years. Not once did they throw in a discalimer or act like it was a joke. I thought is was funny as all hell though because they have some sheep type followers that probably did just that.

Haven't done the RV thing up there, but I have been and it is awesome. Don't know about a day trip but if you ever get the chance for a three or four day stay then hit up Bryce Canyon as well. Zion and Bryce are some of the grandest places on earth. As well as King's Canyon and Sequoia. Grand Canyon and Yosemite are okay but I go to these places to GET AWAY from the crowds, not join them. I think Bryce has more to offer than Grand Canyon as far as just admiring the sheer beauty of the outdoors.

Only 150??? We will need atleast twice that many to clean up the bloodshed from the Closed Thread Mobsters! Sorry Pres "Petey", I just had to. You da man though, great job once again.
