Who was it that stated they had built a ramp or something to that effect at the Casino Morongo in Cabazon? I've Googled any evnts that might relate to such with no luck. I live about an hour away and if something "exciting" is taking place there I would like to check it out. Have to miss the Metal Mulisha at the Fontana NASCAR race 'cause I'll be at 4SCS race 2 in Dumont the same weekend. Chime in please if you have the scoop on the event. Thanks

Hey now, that could easily be misinterpreted. It was good meeting you guys also, always fine folks to be found at DDR. Those dunes were beat down though, I feel like I went 15 rounds with Mike Tyson. The crowd, or lack of, was nice. Hopefully for the peeps going out next weekend a major wind storm will come through and fix things up for you. I'll be hitting up Glamis for Pres Day but be back at Dumont for race 2 of the 4SCS.

Saw the Thanksgiving show and it was fairly low key, a little girl/girl action but fully clothed while I was there. Very unlike Halloween 05, with the Escalade/TH at Comp. Mucho nudity at that one. Never realized so many folks rode the dunes with dollars in their pockets. I only carry my Marine Corps ID so they know who the corpse is should the situation arise...

I think that the UltraMart is now Valero. I could be mistaken... only reason I stop in Baker is for Arby's.

Oh but my friend, I have mentioned this awesome site many times on other forums, and face to face hanging at the dunes and various riding spots. As an example, while riding at Ocotillo, Glamis, Little Sahara, Johnson Valley, and our beloved Dumont, or posting at the ATVConnection, ATVMX, Extreme Garage, or OnDunes sites, I always plug each and every one according to the situation. I'm totaly unbiased and feel like there is something to be learned or gained from each and every one of them. Unlike some Mods who would alter or delete this post for mentioning the "competition". You seem to be fair and balanced like Mr ORielly and let us get away with quite a few shennanigans and that's the reason most of us hang out here more than the aformentioned sites. Now, dammit, can I have just one sticker?

I've had these two since they switched from the Lumina to the Monte Carlo about 10 or 11 years ago now. I've got one that's camo from when he first signed with Realtree about 16 or so years ago, and one from waaaay back in the day when he went from the Blue and Yellow Wrangler car to the Black #3. Along with about a dozen or so more that I rotate from time to time. Some of the earlier ones are of a thin silk material and the newer ones are double sided heavy weight nylon so I use them much more. This how you'll find me in the dunes: I also roll like this:

He's already kicked me in the dingding about my passion for her and bringing her out to our little parties in the dunes. Such a party pooper he is. Anyway, 26 days til DAYTONA boys and girls.

Welcome aboard Dustin. If you can't locate anyone, or don't even know anyone yet, just look for the White F150 with a few Earnhardt decals and a DDR sticker, and two #3 flags blowing in the breeze about 20ft off of the ground. That'll be us. Stop on by and say hey. And just to let it be known, we go to the dunes to RIDE. Lots of folks show up to camp and only do one or two rides per day at the most. We go back to camp to fill up the tanks and the bellies and for sleep at the end of the evening. If you wanna ride look us up... Ace

Isn't that Super Bowl weekend? There are a few of us planning that trip if that's it. All I know is that there is 29 days til DAYTONA. Then my dune trips will start dwindling down. We did SB weekend last year and the crowd was very small. All of you stick and ball types make sure you stay at home this year too!

Down by 8 is not too bad, the dunes are right there, and you won't get stuck like last year. And just in case you forgot, is HOT. I'm sticking with Crown for this trip.
