  11. While on a run that Lou B was leading Friday afternoon, he flopped a razorback and found out there was literally no sand on the other side for quite a ways down.   15. It should be an action packed weekend with Sand Wars hitting Dumont. Tons of Jeeps and Side x Sides in both hill climb competitions and drags races. Sounds like a fun event.   17. ok let's get some pics flowing for next month's DPOM. The winner's dune pic will be posted on the homepage after the contest is over. The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well as your caption or description included with the pic. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4.   19. In case some of you were wondering what the big film crew is filming out at Dumont this weekend, it's a commercial for the new Samsung Notebook 9. They are a permitted film crew so please be respectful and steer clear of their area.
  20. A Polaris RZR went up in flames Friday afternoon near Banshee Hill. It appears everyone was OK. They had just enough time to pull the seats and some gear out of it.
  21. A milktruck overturned on HWY 127 just north of Baker around 8/9 am blocking the road. It's been cleared since and traffic is flowing now.
  22. Around 7:45 AM on Friday Jan 15, a milktruck overturned blocking the highway and caused traffic to come to a standstill in both directions. At approximately 10am, crews had the truck pulled to the side of the roadway wallowing traffic to resume. The driver only suffered minor injuries.
