Tracy put it on it's lid when Neal was shooting some action pics of her driving the sandcar. I didn't see it or the pics, but Neal got it all. haha

I thought John was going to land in Baker. -
Run some smoothies or ribbed tires. Not much you can do if you are running those razorback type tires. They all seem to do that.

haha glad you found the thread Karl! Even more glad you aren't hurt. You're car held up great. Get her fixed back up so we can dune soon. PS, this isn't the only new rollover club member from the weekend. LOL

3rd Annual Buggy Roundup Trip Reports & Pics

Great pics! Buggy Roundup was awesome this year. We had almost 30 buggies show up and we had the place all to ourselves. That wind sucked and I am still pissed my car started running crappy, but it didn't stop me from having fun. Everyone was way cool. Great meeting all the new faces. Thank you guys. I can't wait to do it again. More pics and video from the Buggy Roundup Huckfest to come. Huge thanks to Neal for the great coverage. Can't wait to see all those photos. -
The weather has been good other than the wind at times. It looks like it is done for the weekend though. Still a great turnout and group so far this weekend. It's only Friday night too. Hope to see the rest of you guys tomorrow.

OK cool. That sounds like the spot. Dentboy should be there soon and I'm sorta dragging a$$ this morning so it might be noon before we get there.
-
Hey Ted where did you park? Lee (RuN2it) got out there tonight at the spot and he didn't see you. He's in a motorhome and white enclosed trailer. He said he'd hop on his bike and go look for you. I'll be out in the morning. Just to clarify the camp is just across the main dirt road from bathroom 10. C6 on the grid map.

OK I've got a projector, about 50ft of RCA cable, and some speakers. Hopefully we can get the fight ordered up Saturday night. If anyone has any good DVDs or blu rays, bring em. We can through those on too afterwards.
-
Sweet! Too bad you aren't staying the whole weekend though.
-
Hell yeah. You'lll probably be the first one there then so grab a nice big spot across from 10 on the right side of the road. See you out there man. I'll be pulling in Thursday morning sometime. For anyone else that gets there before me, just remember to keep the circle BIG. We have alot of rigs coming in. We can always double stack em, but it will have to be a good size circle to begin with.
-
Yeah it should as long as you can order pay per view on it. I'll have to bring a really long cable for it. What do I need? Coaxial?
-
I'll have the 10x20 set up on Friday for Flip-cup.

I was extremely lucky this happened tonight at the car wash rather when we were towing our 15,000 lb trailer down Mt Potisi on the way out to Dumont. I was just driving out of the car wash like 2 mph and drove through a little dip and heard a loud clunk. The hitch must have barley bottomed and caught the pavement. It almost completely ripped off at the welds. It seems it was might have already been cracked because there are rust marks inside. The only thing holding it on was the top weld. Brice brought me down a hitch and I got it home safely. A couple years ago I upgraded my receiver and equalizer setup for safety reasons. I would have never thought this hitch piece would break! It's the only thing I didn't change. Time for a new one. Damn

AV gas would be the cheapest route, but you need to know someone who can get you in the airport. Otherwise Rebel is about the only alternative. $8.00/ gallon for 100 race or $8.15 I believe at the Sahara/ I15 Industrial Rebel station for 110. BTW I get mine from the Rebel on Lake Mead/ Van Wagonen. Not all Rebels have race. Hope to see you out there this weekend, Lee!
-
Hahaaa that would be awesome too, Rick!
-
I can probably bring a projector. Hoping someone can order it up out there so we can watch it on the big screen. That was my plan if we can make it happen.
-
Cool. There's no set schedule. Usually mid to late morning is the first group run.
-
This is going to be an awesome camp!
