I can't believe how empty it was for Thanksgiving this year. Halloween had a way bigger turnout. Oh well, we still had a great time. It got chilly at times, but overall the weather cooperated. I think I saw the helicopter maybe once, but didn't hear of any big accidents so that's good. The dunes were is great shape I thought. We layed down some great dunes runs and even got a couple in with the Hotrails guys. Hoping they join us for the Buggy Roundup. Comp Hill was fun Friday and Saturday night watching Speed Racer Mike whoop up on a bunch of cars. Man that car is fast. Friday was hopping over there but Saturday it seemed like everyone had already gone home. My buddy Brian had friends that brought their bouncy house over there. Thought that was pretty funny. It was intended for the adults but a bunch of kids took it over. Some quick buggy run highlights. More pics to come...

That was awesome. I just watched it out here at Dumont. Made it that much better!

They are bringing back the drags this year. The hill climbs will be on Friday and the drags will be on Saturday.

Leaving Dumont for UFC? Why don't you just stay and watch it at the dunes with the crew? I'm sure we will have it playing in more than one rv. We could always project it on a trailer too.

There was a head-on accident reported near Dumont Dunes on HWY127 between an RV and a small car. It looks as though the coroner was called for someone in the small car and one of the victims had to be cut from the wreckage. We need one of those drones to grab some video or at least a snapshot of one of our big group buggy rides and our camp! Anyone have one that they can bring out?

Just pull up to the Buggy Roundup camp and park wherever you want. We all camp together for this trip. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other and go for rides without trying to "pick people up" from other camps.

When my front end bushings get noisy, I just clean them up and apply some of the Steelco Red Crown grease that I use on my CVs and they are silent for another season or more. No adjustment, correct, but the outers would still be adjustable. Maybe larger ones would last longer. Not sure. I would have to make new rods or arms if I went that route too.

Actually no he doesn't. Flyin Ryan does. That red tank next to mine is probably the heaviest thing out there. haha Speaking of Alper, is he making it out?

Thinking we might add a couple more things to this like a king of the hill comp hill race and a buggy weight in game. Jordan is going to bring his digital scales again. That was fun when we did it last time. Maybe we can turn it into a guessing game with prizes.

Dec 11-13, 2015 This is an annual trip where we get all the buggy guys and girls together from the site to camp and dune together for a weekend. Everyone is invited to join us, even if you don't have a buggy. The weekend will include some badass group buggy dune-runs, flip-cup, bonfires and ATC70 drag races so bring one if you have one! This is where we are camping. It is plenty hard packed so don't worry about getting stuck. It is also very easy to spot. It's just off the entrance road across from bathroom 10.
