When I had my Busa SSC, it was tee'd into the upper radiator hose. This is the only pic I could find that shows it. Pretty sure it's the same line you are referring to.

Saturday night Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty cruised their Bedrock-mobile over to Comp Hill and surprised everyone. If there was a costume contest at Dumont, everyone would have agreed they stole 1st place. They cruised the rows of comp stopping several times to take pictures and talk with everyone. Crowds formed around them to get a closer look at their creative setup. This isn't their first decorative Halloween idea though. Many spotted them last year as the Kia hamster-mobile. Their ideas and ingenuity just keep getting better and better every year. They already have big plans for next Halloween. Big props to our friends Howard, Trish, Walter and Laura for pulling of the best costume we've ever seen at Dumont! Great jobs guys. Comp Hill Saturday night... Here are some build pics. These guys spent months on the project. -
Jordan your Funco wasn't a 5 link though. They use trailing arms instead.

Just got word from JWRV. "We are out. Should have 20 more tomorrow. (thurs) FYI we always receive 50 and have 30 left over. We have sold all 50 this Halloween. We have about 12 season passes left with more coming tomorrow as well. It's going to be a zoo out there!!"

Just an FYI. Carter Powersports still has season passes but they're out of the weekly passes for Halloween weekend. They expect Johnnie Walker to be out soon unless they already are. Thought I'd maybe save some people the drive.

Yes, just as you crest the pass and you go down into the valley where you can start to see the dunes in the distance. That "Fireworks Prohibited"is right there too.

The entrance road is in rough shape, but they are grading it right now. Also expect approximately 30 minute delays going south on HWY127 (from Tecopa or Shoshone) at the Inyo/ San Bernardino county line due to construction.

I added a few more blue LEDs to the buggy as well as a nice bright "dome lamp" so I can find my damn goggles at night.

I still have the same heims on the front of the car that were on there when I got it 5+ years ago. It's only a few on the rear 5 link that seem wear out every season or two. I am guessing because they are constantly exposed to more sand and side to side force.

Just about every season I always change out a handful of heims on my car. It's inevitable every year and a downfall to having a 5 link rear suspenion. The heims that attach the arms to the center of the car always wear out first. I'm guessing because they get the most abuse and see alot of sand. I'm wondering why you don't see any 5 link rear ends with bushings instead of heims? I'm no sandcar builder or fabricator, so I'm curious. The front control arms have bushings and they don't wear out. Couldn't I have the arms and tabs modified to use bushings instead? It's not like the arms go any other direction other than up and down.

The member's screen name will be posted up with it as well as your caption or description included with the pic. Dune Pic of the Month- Rules 1. The picture must be YOURS. Do not go surfing the internet looking for one to submit. You cannot post any copyrighted pics. 2. The picture must not have any watermarks or logos on it. 3. The picture must be at least 600 x 600 pixels. It will be displayed on the home page if it wins the most votes so therefore we would like it to be a decent size picture. 4. Pretty sure they're done with it. They couldn't do it last year and we haven't heard a peep from the Fox family ever since. It's too bad. It was really cool.
