    I have a flyer for the event that was given to me a while ago. Going to try and scan it and post it up or find it as a jpg. It's called Sand Wars this year and like mineurbiz said, it will be part of the Prez Day Jeep Races.

    Ok lets get a list going and try to see who all will be out there for Halloween weekend. I know GTP Offroad will be there. I also got a message that Grandpa's Ice Cream Shoppe with "Thriftys"hand dipped Ice cream products will also be there. Vendors, here's your shot at a free plug!

    That is so awesome. It's amazing how far the possibilities of capturing video and photo have come since I started going out to Dumont. Back in the day it was just cool to have a DIGITAL camera. Now look! haha I would love to get some video of our group on a one of our "cocktail runs". We sometimes do some stupid stuff that would be awesome to watch.

    Saturday night the rain came down hard at Dumont. It came down so hard that it woke alot of people up. The storms have been on and off all weekend, but in between there were enough breaks in the weather to allow for some very rare duning conditions. For example the featured photo was taken by Tess Roussin while out on a ride in her Polaris RZR. A rainbow over the dunes is quite a sight! Thanks for posting the photo, Tess. It really proves that Dumont is a pot of gold.

    I heard 10 mph was the comfortable speed going in as of today. I wouldn't worry about getting rained/ trapped in. It takes a ton of rain to flood the river.

    I have barrel locks on my Matco box. Never had an issue with one.

    Not sure is most of you are aware of this, but one of our new site sponsors has a great fix for the problem. If your toyhauler cargo and generator door lock keys have CH751 on them, most everyone has a key to them.     Glamis and Dumont are very different. I would expect some bs like that down at G, but not at D. My guess would be that it's another reason to harass the hill shooters which seem to already get alot of sh*t from rangers.

    Sounds like one of those laws only enforced if your caught blowing things up while high on meth and there's no Dumont pass hanging in your window. In other words, doing something really stupid.
