Gonna be a scorcher out there. It's best to watch the forecast and try to plan for a slight break in the weather. Like Weeks said, 5AM arrival for sure. Not only is it cooler but by 9 AM there are already no shadows and it is very difficult to read the dunes. Be careful if you end up going with only one sandrail. If you break down in the middle of the dunes you are done for.

It's just a group of hill shooter guys mostly from Cali.

I figured that was why, but if it's just some dudes going out with lights to have some fun on the hill all of that wouldn't be required unless they were charging money or had an official roster list or registration. Can't blame them for keeping it quiet though.

I had a feeling they were this weekend because FE135 went out there late Saturday but never said anything about it. They try to keep quiet about them for whatever reason.

It is never busy any weekend before Halloween. Should be pretty empty that weekend. It may still be warm. Watch the forecast as it gets closer.
