  1. Sounds like a damn fine, trip. Nice and relaxing like a vacation should be. Sucks about the damn flies though. Any pics you can post?
  2. Great to hear, Brady! Now the long summer wait begins. Watch the weather and do a day trip! haha
  3. Ah ok. We were riding on quads and were parked in the meadow. We got there late morning Saturday and bailed out around noon on Sunday. Still crazy I didn't spot you out in the dunes.
  4. Always appreciate your outlook, Lee. lol We've been posting pics of trash for years, mostly @@SAND~~SNAKE, but a few others have too. It is somewhat effective but those that leave trash behind aren't involved with the dunes like most of us on DDR. They don't give a crap. They figure someone else will pick up after them. It happens everywhere.
  5. Wtf? We were there too! Check my trip report in the other areas section. Can't believe I didn't see you out there.
  6. Perfect! Would love to see you back out there. We're running out of fast buggy guys.
  7. No not yet. I borrowed Brice's Rappy 700 for this trip.
  8. $72 for Swepco is cheap. It runs a little over $80/ gallon locally in Vegas.
  9. Last weekend @@Sand_YFZ , Mike B and I jammed up to Coral Pink to squeeze in some duning. We made every minute count since we were only there for Saturday and Sunday. When you do a trip with your sole purpose being to to ride ride ride, all you need is about a day or so. We covered just about every bit of Coral. The temps were way nice, 60's and 70's during the day and upper 40's at night. We had no crashes or major issues although I had a very close call with a RZR1000 just past the one way trail. I got it on GoPro. On our last ride on Sunday, Aaron somehow managed to break a front sprocket but we got it handled in no time. He had a spare. The lake bed/ meadow camp area was pretty empty as expected. There were only about 4 camps. The dunes were nice and there was some moisture 8-10" below probably from the recent snow. There were a couple small patches of snow here and there along the side of some trails that never seemed to melt. Overall it was an amazing trip. We brought our bikes managed to do a mountain bike ride at Gooseberry Mesa (near Hurricane, UT) on the way home. I'll post those pics up in the hard pack section soon.
  10. Wow, this is a first. That's crazy.
  11. I don't know. Just that it was recovered.
  12. Here's something you don't hear often. The bike has been found!!
  13. I would think so. It's in the 70's during the day.
  14. Looks like a Coral Pink trip will be sooner than later for me this season. Headed there this weekend!

  16. Dumont season isn't over yet. The weather should be sunny and mid to upper 80's this weekend. Take advantage before it's 100+.

  18. Any trips or upcoming things to look forward to? I'm done with the sand until I get that itch to get a summer morning run in. I had a great season. I've got a few enduro riding trips in mind plus plenty of mountain biking. Hopefully that snow melts at Big Bear. Looking forward to getting back up there soon. Oh and Havasu is right around the corner too! What's on everyone's plate?
  19. Thanks for the pics and report, Jodi! It's a shame about the turnout, but I'm sure next year will be much better. Big props to you guys for helping out. Half a dumpster is very good for so few volunteers. I was hoping to make it out at least for the day but it just wasn't possible this year.
  20. Stolen from Henderson on the night of March 12th. Please be on the lookout.
  21. Thanks guys, it was a blast. Work is so lame compared to vacation. I wanna go back! After we got back to Miami from the cruise we did some scuba diving off the coast of Key Largo. We dove a WWII wreck and a place called the French Reef. Here's a video I put together of some of the cool stuff we saw down there. It was a relatively shallow dive 35-50 feet, but alot of fun.
  22. Big props to you. Thank you for being a 1st class duner.
  23. Ask Walter. Howard has a dude that does really good work and is priced very reasonable.
