  1. ^ Yep, what he said. That's the long version. haha I was going to mention the newer design turbo, but the updated one is basically just a new one. It supersedes the old part #.
  2. Nick I think I have my original stock motor from my atc. You can have it if it's still in my attic. I'll check next time I go up there.
  3. Steve! Good to see you on here, buddy. This is a great duner. Smokin deal for someone wanting to get into a fast, long travel car for cheap.
  4. Those were taken from the corporate DDR helicopter. They were sent to DDR on our FB page and Instagram. A couple guys had drones with cameras mounted up taking pics and video. Here's some more pics that were sent.
  5. Looks amazing, Chad. Good job. Looking forward to seeing it out at D soon.
  6. huh? So if it just a factory defect, why would posters on the internet be messing with people's safety? They're just posting what they know. Care to explain?
  7. Posted on our Facebook page. Looks like it was returned to the owner!
  8. Nice. That's a good amount of duning. Glad you had enough!

  15. There ya go! It's easy to get bummed out when things aren't going right, but in the end duners do what it takes to make the trips happen. Glad you got it all sorted out. Last trip for us seemed like everything was going wrong and it was an omen to stay home, but after pouting about it for an hour I got over it and we made it happen.
  16. Let's start the Halloween Weekend trip report with some live shots from Dumont. Post any highlights or pics you took over the weekend. If you're on mobile, I believe you need to switch to the full site rather than mobile in order to upload directly. Here are some from GTP Offroad and various duners who are out there already.
  17. We rolled in late Thurs night. Of course our camp was still up except this time hanging out under a cool LED night instead of a warm campfire. Why? Because it was still about 75 degrees outside! It ended up being a warm weekend, but a great one nonetheless. We got a good 2-3 dune runs in per day. The dunes were nice and empty, super smooth and challenging to read during the bright hours of the day. In between dune runs we did quite a bit of chillen and relaxing under the awnings and in the shade. That was one part I was looking forward to the most this trip. The duning was just a bonus. I was just happy to be in vacation mode and out there with my family & friends. Didn't want to leave. I can't wait to get back out and do it again. this is my 85 MPH face! haha @@JVZ & I flying the stars and stripes on our cars in remembrance of sanddunesaddict. He flew the flag on everything he owned. Some ATC70 fun in camp camp ATC dune run to catch the sunset Our glowing camp at night Nighttime shenanigans fastony got stung by a bunch of bees. :saywha: What a character. So much fun that night. @@duniemonkie ready for a dune run with her dune jams going stopped on another dune run Lou B made some sand angels my duniemonkie vegetation was spared on this run cookies and milk in memory of Bert home sweet home campfire
  18. I usually burn about 20-25 gallons of race fuel in my turbo Honda. That's usually about 2-3 hard runs each day for 3 days. E85 burns more and Subie's tend to use a little more because you are running them higher rpm. I would bring about 30 gallons for 3 days. That seems like more than enough unless you plan to dune for 12 hours a day.
